I am a 10½-11 in all my shoes. I wear 45 Euro in Pearl Izumi cycling shoes. These shoes come out of the box stiff. Duh, cycling shoe. The material in the body of the shoe is stiff. The volume of the shoe in the toe box is larger than most cycling shoes I have used. I felt the Velcro strap may not fully secure this part of my foot. Felt loose. The BOA adjuster is awesome, very snug and infinately adjustable. After wearing the shoe on the bike, my concern about being too loose was gone. Foot filled the shoe and I had to loosen the velcro. No slop when pedaling. Getting in to my Crank Bros pedals is a bit of a pain. I will have to add a shim to the cleat. Overall I like the shoe. Typical Pearl quality, very high. If I could have a do over, I would pay a little extra for the model with 2 BOA adjusters.

Awesome shoe but sizing was not good for me. I typically wear a 10.5 or 11 … on these my toes were pressed firm against the front of the 44 (10.8)
