This Calentito jacket is a North Face active fit cut, and at 5'10" I typically wear a size Large in this brand and style. However, I read the previously posted reviews (thank you ladies for sharing!) and this time ordered an XL. Good call. I already own a Canyonwall jacket, also a North Face active fit, in Large, and it is a brightly colored jacket that I enjoy wearing in the spring and summer over short sleeve tops. I wanted this Calentito jacket for fall/winter casual wear, which means down here on the Gulf Coast, being able to wear it with long sleeve tees or light sweaters underneath. Surprise - this XL Calentito was more fitted across the chest and shoulders than I expected. In fact, I put my Canyonwall jacket on top of it, and the top shoulder seams were the same length! Where it began to noticeably differ between the two styles was at the mid-section, as the XL Calentito was wider when zipped closed and laid flat under my Large Canyonwall jacket, and the sleeve length was even longer, too (the Calentito sleeves are also softly lined on the inside for extra warmth - lovely!). I guess I could downsize to a Large, to possibly slim in more at the waistline, but since I am an erg-rower, I think it would bind me further at the chest and upper arms while wearing longer sleeve tops (and I do not need to trap that much heat down here in Texas). Overall, it still is a trim cut, the XL just gives me more room to comfortably put both hands into its front pockets when it gets cold outside. As a North Face product, it is well designed, well made, and I can heartily recommend New Taupe Green Heather color as a wonderful new neutral for fall.

Fit perfectly. Wish there were a bit a stretch to material, but other than that perfect.

I love the jacket, good in between seasons here in the Pacific NW. The only thing I'm not totally pleased with is the collar. It looks funny on me folded down, but sits higher on my neck then my Apex Bionic. Not a deal breaker for me, just need some getting used to.

I have been wanting to buy a North Face jacket for a couple of years and this month, I finally invested in one and it was totally worth it! I immediately fell in love with this jacket when I tried it on. It was exactly what I was wanting in a jacket and met all of my expectations. The added bonus was the fit was perfect as matched from the fit test North Face provides if you are unsure of what size to purchase. I recommend this jacket for anyone!

Got the large size fits great and the quality is awesome, the only problem i have is the sleeve is too long for me ( actually most of my jackets are like that ) but i have a solution for that, very stylist!

Love this jacket. My husband has a couple North Face jackets that were windproof. Borrowed his during our son's baseball game and it kept me warm...I just had to have one for my very own. I ordered the medium based on the fit finder. I'm 5'3", 145 lbs and average built. Jacket fit great, like a tailored blazer, not too snug. A thin sweater is probably the thickest thing I could wear with this jacket. I love how light weight it is too. I live in NoCal, so this would be perfect when transition to winter to spring. Sleeves do run long. They go past my wrists and cover the palms of my hands. But that doesn't bother me. Got the black and because of the sale I'm thinking about getting the grey.

This is my first jacket from TNF and I love it. The color is cute and I like the way it fits... My next one will have a hood though.

I used North Face's fit finder and it recommended a size medium, although I was a little wary after reading reviews that the jacket runs small. But I took the plunge and ordered a medium anyways. I'm 5'4" and 135-140 lbs, and the medium fits perfect, not too snug but not too loose. The sleeves come down past my wrist, but that's not too big of a deal for me, I like my jackets that way. It's soft and warm, although I haven't tested it in the cold so I'm not sure how well it would stand up in the cooler seasons. Perfect soft shell.

I ride horses and this jacket is the perfect fit for comfort and weather protection.

Love this jacket. It's great for fall/spring when it's chilly and windy. It fits really nicely and looks nice. The sleeves are too long for me, but I'm short, so I deal with that alllll the time. So it wasn't a surprise, I fold under the ends and you can't even tell.

I wear this to school most days, I love how light weight it is. Wind doesn't get through so I have to wear a lot less layers which is nice when I'm in a hurry in the mornings. Also love the one silver button on top, received many compliments on it!

This is a casual wear jacket. It is not overly warm, but since I like to layer, it works. Love it!

I bought this coat for my daughter because it is lightweight and protects against wind and rain. You can put layers underneath it for warmth.

Love the coat! Nice and warm and fits good - not bulky at all. Keeps wind out, which is a huge plus in cold climates! Would definitely recommend.

Best gift for my sister . So great I tried it on before I gave it to her and bought myself one . We. It's love it and thinks it's the best fit for comfort warmth and style . Thumbs up for sure !
