I LOVED my old Columbia Slate Slides sandals (lasted 10 years?) but my dog ate one. These sandals were instantly as comfortable but not quite as stylish with a little too much leather strapping on top.
Since my old favs aren't available any more, these are fitting VERY well. The footbed is shaped perfectly and is soo comfy with built in toe grabs that allow you to keep them on when walking. I had to loosen the velcro just a bit so the upper mesh doesnt contact my ankle so much
I usually wear a 10 1/2 4E shoe and the 11 in this sandal fits great - wide enough and doesn't flop around
I'd buy these again!!

This is a very attractive sandal, well fabricated and runs true to size. I measure right at a size 10 but I stepped up to the 11 due a wide foot and high in-step. Unlike some slides it stays in place on extended walks

I like the look of these sandals, but after wearing them for an hour or two, my little toe on one foot started getting a blister. Also, because of the style with no strap in the back, it was kind of hard to keep these sandals on while walking.
I'll try them some more, maybe with socks... and they may be fine if you don't have to walk far, or the fit is better.

I had a pair of original Corniglia; that just wore out after years of happy & heavy use. These were a disappointment, & felt like an inferior knock off of the original. Too bad original model was not brought back

4 years ago, I bought the Columbia Corniglia original, and loved them! I would give those a 5 star rating for sure. It took 4 years for them to wear down enough where I needed to buy a new pair. Alas, I was sad to see them discontinued. I ordered a pair of these "Corniglia II," and I was quite disappointed that they did not fit the same. Biggest mistake: the gaps on the side are positioned differently than the original, making it easy for your toe to slide out and get stuck. Alas, I guess it is like the movies where more often than not, the sequel disappoints.
