First four weeks, the shoes were wonderful. After that, the more I wore them for long periods of time, the more my feet hurt. So, I can only wear them for an hour or two at a time. Absolutely do not wear them when I walk my 2.5 miles/day. However, love the way they look. Haven't had a problem with the flip-flops. They really work well with my high instep.

Am returning these. Have been wearing the Vionic leather style successfully but this style constructed with mesh didn't support my feet properly and after one day my knee problems and plantar fasciitis (which hasn't been a problem) flared up badly. Fit/sizing wasn't an issue but proper support was.

I've been wearing Vionic (previously Orthaheel) for years and love them. I could tell these shoes were "off" when I tried them on. The arch is too far back towards the heel. I thought maybe it was just that one pair, but I tried on another in a different color and it was the same. I compared it to the Vionic shoes on display and these are definitely made with the arch further back. I don't know why they did that with this one style and it just ruins them.

I normally only wear Vionic or shoes with Vionic insoles. I have a dozen different styles. These just don't have the same support I am used to. The uppers are very soft and I pronated with the first step. Usually I can count on Vionic to keep my feet steady and supported. I don't know what is going on. Sadly, these are being returned.

I received these shoes as a gift for Christmas. I was really excited about wearing them to work because I have other Orthaheels and they are very comfortable. Let me tell you not even three hours into my shift and my knees and feet were screaming! I work 12 hour nights so you can imagine my agony. These have to go back!

Sadly I am returning these. The area around the laces created uncomfortable pressure on the top of my foot. I have the flipflops and love them! In all fairness I have a high instep so sneakers are a tough fit for me.

These shoes are awesome! They do everything they promise -- stabilize and support my foot and cushion as I walk. I'm a size 10M with slim feet and high arches, but I usually have to buy a size 11 (or men's shoe) in athletic shoes, and cobble together an orthotic insert to get the support and stability I need. The Vionic size 10 fit me perfectly, with the arch support in exactly the right place. I didn't even have a "break-in" period. I read other reviews that people felt sore until they got used to the arch support, but they felt great for me right out of the box. The sole is flexible, but shock absorbing, and the uppers are stretchy and light. They stabilize my pronation and my knees feel better! Plus they are slim and cute on my size 10 feet, unlike the heavy running shoes I was wearing before. I'd try other models...this is my new go-to brand!

These are so comfortable, I just can't get over it! I've had so much trouble with my feet for the past 3 years (I was misdiagnosed with plantar fasciitis, but actually have Functional Hallux Rigidus) so need shoes with super-duper support. These shoes feel like slippers on my feet - very soft and flexible top, and nice cushioning and SUPPORT for my pronation/flat feet.

Great out of the box. I walked 3 miles on first wearing. Feel light but supportive on feet. Arch support very good, back slightly but to my liking. Love the bright lace and collar detail.

Comfortable shoe right out of the box. I like the attached tongue that stays in place. Ample shoestrings and a neat look compliment the excellent support. I would recommend to anyone.

I have a few pairs of Vionic shoes (and sandals and slippers!) so I had no trouble adjusting to the arch support. These shoes saved my feet while walking many miles around NYC while visiting my daughter. I would recommend these shoes without hesitation.

I absolutely love Vionic Orthaheel shoes. I have extremely high arches and cannot find anything that actually touches my foot in the middle outside of this brand. I usually buy most of their shoes a half size smaller. I have medium to narrow feet. The only complaint I have about these is that the insoles were quite hard.

These are perfect to wear at my office job with a casual dress code. I tried Superfeet inserts in many other black sneakers, but couldn't find any that fit well. I have other Vionic shoes so I tried these sneakers and the fit is excellent because the shoe is designed to work with the supportive insert it comes with, not an afterthought of trying to put arch support in a shoe designed for the flat pad that comes standard in all other shoes. However, if you are an athlete, these are not quality "athletic shoes". They lack the same grip as the big name brand sneakers and I find the quality of the shoes Vionic makes to be not as durable, either. I encountered a little water on the tile floor and felt like I was ice skating, which never happened in my previous Adidas. The arch support is excellent, like in other shoes Vionic makes, so they are very comfortable to wear all day. They’re great for walking and would be awesome for trekking around amusement parks or fairs. I find they run larger than other Vionic dress shoes, as I normally wear an 11, but the 10s fit me with a little room to spare, and the toe box is nice and roomy. I ordered the regular with, and these seem equivalent as other “normal width” shoes. I ordered the black with turquoise and replaced the blue laces with black ones to be more neutral for work.

I put my own orthotics in these and they are extremely comfortable. I am able to wear them all day. No break-in period. Would buy them again in a heartbeat.

I have somewhat narrower feet and over pronation big time. I own over 15 pairs of Vionic. I like these the best. I have two pairs so I can alternate days wearing them. Have had them several months and wear every day in the winter months. I wear a 10 in sandals and 11 in closed toe. The mesh works for my hammertoes and the side panel helps with the over pronation. I didn't find a problem with the arch being too far back as some mentioned. Lace ups work for me and those adjustable sandals.

I am very pleased with service and quality of my Venture Shoes. Quick service and was just great to deal with.

I use this shoe for my inside work-outs. It has good arch support, fit well with my normal size, and didn't require any break-in time. I also like the color combination of black/aqua.

These are most good looking, comfortable footwear. I have plantar fasciitis and my heel feels great in these shoes. I have more gait with these sneakers!

These shoes fit like a glove the moment I put them on. Wore them to Busch Gardens and my feet felt great all day!

Great fit for my very high arch. Removable inner sole had nice arch support. May not need my orthodics for casual use. Wide toe box which I need. Based on other 9 WIDE shoes (mostly New Balance) this was a true size. Very Light weight. Moving South, need to ditch the unstylish heavier-weight walking shoes.

Some reviews said arch supports were too far back; I thought so too at first but I kept wearing them and they are PERFECT. They make my feet happy. After I wore these for a month, I ordered 2 more pairs.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes and the wide width worked perfectly for my feet. I was able to walk around all day, the first day, with no pain. However, in all honesty, I bought them for a magic trick where my laces are untied and then tie themselves when the untied laces are brought to my attention. For this, the bright (almost neon) blue laces are eye catching and perfect. Sadly, your laces will not tie themselves, but you can find options to turn your lace shoes into slip-ons. This is actually my second pair. That is how comfortable they are!

This is my first pair of Vionics. Overall the shoe looks great. It's light weight yet supports my feet in the right places due to the insert, and the ankle collar. It feels a little wide in the toe box but that might be because the material is more stretchy than the leather sneakers I usually get. The upside of that is my feet are less hot than in leather sneakers, which is a very good thing. To summarize: lightweight, good arch support, good looking shoe.

Like the previous pair of the Venture Active lace up I needed to put a generic insole under the Vionic insole for more cushioning. My only complaint with these shoes.

I love my Vionic Sneakers. Very comfortable and love to go walking in them. They support my ankle so very much. I have had 2 Full Knee Replacements and these sneakers are the best support I could ever have. My niece introduced me to their sandals and she was absolutely right...the support was superb. I had ordered one day and received my sneakers the very following day. Very pleased with the service. Thank you for making these type of shoes. I have tried all kinds...these are the best support shoes for my ankle and knees. Thank you again!
