Just wanted to update my earlier review of this product and to say a big "thank you" to the terrific staff at Zappos. I mentioned in my earlier review that the toe box of one shoe was smashed in during shipping, but that I preferred keeping them and trying to stuff the toes to reshape. Zappos read my review and was kind enough to return 30% of the purchase price- Without my even asking! Way to go. Great customer service. Thanks so much.

I’ve tried at least seven boots in this family of style and this boot is the 1st boot that felt true to size, they are super cute, warm the only downfall is that they don’t have any arch support but luckily I have my own inserts that I’m going to put in them and they’ll fit perfect and I can go walk my dog and them and wear them all day in comfort,plus you can’t beat that quick shipping with Zappos .

Really like the look and feel of this boot. Universal and casual look and easy on and off with zipper, but laces assist in keeping the fit snug. Rugged and non slipping sole is also nice in wet weather. Leather seems to "breathe" as it claims and the boots are comfortable all day - inside and out.

I have perpetually cold feet, so I searched high and low for lined boots to keep my feet warm. Even slippers don't do the trick! I'm so impressed with these boots. They have enough water resistance to deal with the rainy days in Seattle, and my feet have never been warmer in the winter! I did have to add a sole insert for additional support because foot bed felt hard as a hard and dropped off between the heel and the rest of the foot bed. But that was an easy fix, and there was still plenty of room in the boot after I added it. Happy feet!

I used to buy Rieker's years ago and loved the fit. These boots don't disappoint. Great toe room, lots of ways to adjust for comfort and fit including both laces and zippers. Haven't worn them except for a try on, I'll have to see how they fit with wear. I usually wear a 9B, but ordered a 9.5 (41) for heavier sock wear. The only disappointment was some damage to the toe of one boot. It seems they are shipped with packing inside the toe of only 1 boot. Consequently the toe of the other was badly punched in. I've tried to reshape it but so far has not completely resumed it's correct. I'm hoping it will correct with some packing. I'd rather not return if I don't have to. I purchased a 2nd pair of Rieker flats which were to large and they also had packing in only 1 toe, and some damage at the seam in the toe box area.

I really like this boot but no arch support,so back they go.

The fit of this boot is 'off.' It slopes down towards the toes and simultaneously loses all cushion. It has a very hard sole beginning at mid-foot. Cute on the outside but that is it. The height of the boot is too short for me also.
