A good substitution for the famous, multi-thousand dollar Chanel. No, the leather is not as luxurious as the Boy, but is that not expected? Rebecca Minkoff offers average value for the price, and their bags are also on the heavy side (the chain strap is where a lot of the weight comes from), so if you are looking for a light bag, this is not it. But it holds a lot: all the daily essentials (including a pair of glasses) except, maybe a water bottle. I bought the black on black (and plan on getting another color sometime soon) and while it is beautiful, the black paint on the hardware begins to chip almost immediately, mostly on the clips that attach the strap to the purse. I am not happy about this, but 99 percent of the time, I wear the bag as a clutch, and I love the look, so I have not returned it. I love the turnlock, it is easy and secure. There is a large slip pocket on the back/outside of the purse that is held closed by an invisible magnet, great for slipping in a phone or a slim card holder. There is also a medium sized, interior zip pocket along the back wall, add a smaller slip pocket just big enough for a few cards. Stitching and finishing on my black color are clean, although I have had some Rebecca Minkoff that are not as nicely finished, so be picky and have a discerning eye. The bag breaks in quickly and within a few days, the stiffness that make it feel a little bulky at first, quickly goes a way, and it becomes much easier and comfortable to hold as a clutch, even with my small hands. It is a beautiful bag with average value: if you love the way it looks online, I think you will be happy with your purchase.

I have this bag in Biscuit and plan on getting the black with silver hardware or gold hardware because I hear that the black hardware begins to chip quickly. The bag is gorgeous. I cannot afford a boy bag but this bag is well made and very chic and worth the price.

Love! Perfect size, a lot larger than the small crossbody. Luxurious leather. Looks very expensive.

This is a pretty bag for what it is (inspired by infamous Boy) but the leather is not sumptuous, it's just OK. The form factor, size and hardware work nice. The only thing that I truly love is that it is black on black.

This is a fine purse, but there is a white recycle sticker on the interior that should not belong there, but doesn't seem to come off without leaving sticky residue. I tried two bags (the first one directly from Rebecca Minkoff site), but both bags had the exact same problem. Very disappointed. Returning.
