Really happy with this coat. Warmer than I expected, and definitely comfortable. I live in far Northern California, so our winters aren't snowy-cold, but still chilly. This coat would keep me warm with just a long sleeved tee underneath, and I definitely don't need a sweater under it. I'm a pretty standard medium, but my shoulders are broad, so I often have to size up or make do in anything non-stretchy and always with coats. Not with this one! Another perk: the sleeves are plenty long. I have average-to-longish arms and there's still enough length. In fact, if you have short arms, they might be too long. I love that the sleeves are lined with a silky material so it's easy to put on the coat when you're wearing a long sleeved sweater, but the rest of the coat is lined with 'warm fuzzies'. The only quibbles I have are that the fuzzy lining makes my layers 'ride up'. If I wear this coat while driving or sitting and then get up, I have to reach under and pull my shirt down. Also, I wish there were 30% fewer buttons on it. They're great and functional, but sometimes I look in the mirror when I wear this coat and feel like I'm covered in buttons. If that's something that would bug you, it might not be the coat for you.

Love this coat!! It’s the perfect weight for MN winter days. I can layer if needed. I love it so much I want another color but my size isn’t available right now. A co-worker bought that same coat after seeing mine.

This is a very cozy jacket! Perfect for 50 degree weather. I think you could make it work in cooler temps with layering- there’s enough room.

I am 5'7" and skinny! I ordered the medium because I have longer arms and like the extra length! This jacket is very roomy! I love the style, ordered a small to see how it will fit. This is NOT a jacket for harsh winters, it is more of a fall jacket. With the extra room of this jacket you could layer for colder days!

Absolutely perfect. Small fits great even tho a little roomier that’s good for a nice warm coat like this. It’s very cute and comfortable.

As soon as I put this one, I LOVED it. The color is fantastic. I am a true size 14 and the L is slightly tight in the chest (but I'm 38 DDD), so I'm returning for a larger one. It's extremely warm. For travelers, it may be a bit heavy/bulky but the amount of zippered pockets is amazing - and as someone said, it's great that you have a separate side-access pocket to keep just your hands warm. Can't wait to get the larger size - and this is so warm, you probably don't need to layer heavy sweaters underneath - frankly, it'd be too hot if you did. It's great...I can't attest to the water resistance, but that's a nice factor too.

Fit, quality, look as expected.

This parka is quite warm, and it's very stylish. Those two don't usually go hand in hand so I'm happy I found this! The length is great and the pull tab drawstring accentuates my waist even more. The lining is soft. I usually buy size L and this fit well, though it was a tad snug in the chest area. The blue is a beautiful shade--not too light, not dark. The brown accents are cute. Overall very happy with this coat.

A well made, stylish coat - true navy color, not too dark.Large fits my 5'10" daughter well. Great length in the sleeves. Not too bulky and it actually has a bit of a slim fit. The inner waist pulls work well. Back tail of the coat is contoured beautifully. Haven't seen a coat this nice in a store in years. Only outstanding concern is how it might wash when the time comes.

99.9% of the time I’m a medium in jackets with the ability to swear a sweatshirt underneath. I originally ordered a medium and found it snug in the hips with a regular shirt on and snug almost everywhere with a sweatshirt on. Exchanged it for a large. Still snug in the hips but zippable. Not as snug with a sweatshirt. The sleeves are quite long on me now too with the large but it’s not a huge deal. I ultimately kept the large. If I wear a thinner long sleeve shirt and this coat, I find that I’m sill quite warm in the Chicago suburbs winter weather. Have yet to test it in snow and rain but it did say it’s waterproof. The pockets are in great spots for tucking away things on your chest and sides. Would recommend. Maybe I just have bigger hips than the average wearer :-)

99% of the time I'm between a medium and a large coat. After reading reviews on this one and knowing it's going to be going over winter sweaters, I opted for the large and it's more snug than i expected. I have hips so the tight area is around my waist but its comfortable in the chest and arms. For sizing purposes if you're curious, I'm a size 8 in pants and like I said a large was more "fitted" than loose like the rest of the jacket on other areas of my body. The material is nice, thickness is good. Would definitely keep me warm during Chicago winters. Ultimately returning since I'm not thrilled with the colors (I bought a khaki and the red) more so just because I feel like I already have those colors in other jackets (they're nice colors so I'm not saying they're ugly) and holding out for the green color to come back in stock.

Just as others said, the color is more of a plum purple than a burgundy like the picture, so that was a little disappointing. I would prefer the pictured color. I am keeping it though, because it is a really nice and thick jacket. Not quite thick enough for a Midwest winter, but for spring or fall. Very soft and the sleeves are long. I have long arms and so the majority of coats I buy show my wrists. So this jacket may not work for someone of shorter stature. I am 5’9”, 140 lbs and purchased a medium, which is my normal size.

Sizing runs pretty small! Otherwise nice coat - very warm.
