This shoe is a perfect example of why materials matter more than technology. Like many soft "comfort shoes," this shoe felt great right out of the box. It hugged my hard-to-fit size 10 narrow foot perfectly; the straps provided stability in the right places; the support was more substantial than that of many flats. I picked this style because the look is light enough to serve as a cute flat with skirts and skinny pants while still offering comfort. But faux leather, an overly foamy footbed, a ridged heel-grabber and fuzzy plush liner amounted to torture chambers that somehow rubbed, pinched, slipped and squeezed all at the same time. By the end of one work day, my poor tootsies were unbearably sore and rubbed raw on toe and heels. Cheap, cheap, cheap materials and construction. If you don't like your feet to be tortured, don't buy this shoe.

Cute shoes, unfortunately the heels are not narrow at all. I tried to wear them and walked right out of them. The velcro comes undone because the heels slip so much. Sadly, I did wear them to work so now can't return them.

Really liked the look and the lightness of the shoe, however, with my wide flat feet and bunions, did not provide enough arch support, pressure on bunions even with wide size and the pattern of cushioning of foot bed was uncomfortable at ball of feet.

I haven't had these long enough to know how they will wear over the months, but they were not only quite comfortable right from the start, but continued to feel good as I wore them through the day. I have unusually high arches, so I did replace the insole with one that gives greater arch support, as I do with all my shoes. I also have narrow heels. My heel slipped slightly as I walked, but the slippage was not great and the straps held my foot in place. I had no issues with rubbing or pain. I may consider getting heel pads, but don't see it as a necessity. I love the way they look and they carried me easily through a work day. They appear to be well made and reasonably sturdy. I saw no construction flaws and the materials felt great on my feet. I question whether the critical reviewer who spoke of faux leather and poor materials was speaking of this shoe. Could this person have somehow received a cheap knock-off, or be confusing this shoe with a different one? My shoes were well-made with real leather and the liner was leather, not "fuzzy plush" or "overly foamy."

I love these shoes. This is the third pair of the same shoe (two in black and 1 in brown) that I've owned. They are so comfortable and they are also cute and reasonably feminine, including the little design on the front/side. I have problems with bone spurs and plantar fasciitis and I don't have any problems while wearing these shoes. I definitely recommend them.

Beautiful and reasonably comfy. I really like how these look on my feet. My feet are wide and thick, and these fit fine (I ordered the Wide size). The footbed feels just a little odd - the arch support is a bit lacking, and there are minor bumps in odd places. I would like more cushioning under the ball of the foot. If I need to do any serious walking in these, I'll slip a gel insert in there, and all will be well.

Ordered these and Cobb Hill Parker in 9.5N. Needed a new pair of black flats. If you have narrow heels go with the Parker. These were too loose. The Parker has a better strap to keep your foot in the shoe. Cute and comfy but too loose for a narrow foot.

I'm about to head overseas for two years while volunteering for the Peace Corps, and I needed new shoes. I wanted something cute yet sturdy, and comfortable to walk in. I tried a couple of the other Cobb Hill shoes, but they were too tight right around the top of the toes. These? Are perfect. They are comfy and feel good on my feet, yet they still look cute and fashionable.

I'm a 9.5 narrow and I struggle to find a brand that fits, much less is comfortable. This pair straight out of the box and onto bare feet is ridiculously comfortable, perfect arch support and super cute. If you are happy with the fit of 9.5 narrow Naturalizer sandals, then go for this one. I am definitely going to be buying more of this brand.

I got them yesterday and I like them a lot. This is not a sexy shoe - but it's cute enough. I wear to work with jeans or jeggings. I spend time on a manuf floor so comfort is a key. Pretty expensive so I expect this to be my go to black flat for a LONG, LONG time.

Love them. The toe shape accommodates my big toe, unlike pointy shoes. And they still look stylish. They fit my hard to fit narrow foot.

I have another pair of these in a wide which is a little too wide, although very comfortable. I thought I might get a trimmer fit trying the medium width, but they are too narrow. Will reorder as soon as wide becomes available. Please try to have more wide sizes on hand!

I have a pair of Navy blue and love them. They are comfortable and they really look nice with jeans, shorts or slacks. I wish I could find another navy pair.

Of the various somewhat clunky but comfortable shoes (great for walking on a vacation), these were the best. They're sort of cute. The leather upper is a little hard but may soften in time. The cross straps are anchored on one side with elastic to accommodate high arches. The inside is a soft suede. The soles have some traction so that you don't slip clambering around Mediterranean hill towns and their wet stone streets. Only downside for me is that they were a half size too large; the 9W fit much better.

I already have a pair of this same shoe in the red/cordovan color and decided they were so comfortable that I wanted a pair in black. I wear an 11 or 12 and the 11 W is perfect for me. I have had multiple bilateral surgeries on my feet, I have neuropathy, and I need a little heal height because of Achilles Tendon damage. These shoes have some style and provide enough support that I don't feel confined as I do in tennis shoes.

I was uncertain about size when I ordered these. I wear a C or wide shoe but can be a 7 1/2 or 8 because my second toe is longer than my big toe. These turned out to be too big, so I tried for a 71/2 because I really liked the style, the comfort, and the workmanship (I've never had this shoe before). Should it come in in the burgundy/red, I will be ordered it.

Except for athletic shoes, I have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable. These shoes look great and are very comfortable.

I LOVE this shoe so much, that I've ordered a black pair. They are as comfortable as a sneaker or my favorite Chacos. I am always wanting a shoes that is comfortable without looking too masculine - these fit that bill! They are comfortable with our without socks. I was worried because the other reviews said that they ran big, but I don't find that, but I do like my shoes more loose than tight. I highly recommend these shoes!

Very comfortable, fit is perfect. These shoes are right out of the box and on your feet. Nice material. Very nice, well priced. These are well made. Definitely buy again.
