These are beautifully made shoes, but even the narrow width was too wide for my narrow feet. I really wear a slim, or as they said in the old days, a AAA. They are impossible to find in other than "old lady styles". What do young women with narrow feet do? I ordered these because I always have to try! You never know when I'll hit the jackpot.

These boots are lovely. The leather is soft and the workmanship is very good. I found the fit to be good for my wide foot and my only compliant is that the sole is not very padded. My feet are sensitive but I added a insert and that helped me.

I really love Van Eli booties. So cute and comfy. They brought me from classic to a bit more fresh. I am almost 50 and a 22 year old in my office said so!

Love them. First day I wore my boots I walked close to a mile. Super comfortable. I've worn them almost every day. Quality of the leather is good. I have a narrow foot and they fit perfectly.

I only buy boots about every 20 years (as in the last pair of ankle boots I bought were in 1993). The boots have to look good with dresses and skinny jeans and dress pants. I got these in Black. Comfort in walking, wearing and they look great for all three uses I need them for. Beautiful finish on the leather.

Bam! Awesome! These boots are just the ticket. I wear a 10 N and they fit like a glove. I read the other review and was a bit hesitant to order them but I knew if they did not work, I could easily return to Zappos. When they arrived I quickly opened the box and tried them on with my jeans and then my office pants. They look great with either pair of pants. I did not find any defects like the other review mentioned. The heel is the right height to walk in without feeling you will fall over or trip. I really like these boots. If they come in espresso, I will order another pair. Order yourself a pair too, they come highly recommended.

I loved these shoes, but I had to send them back as they were made poorly. The shoe was great, but the decorative strap across the top was an inch shorter on the right than the left - causing the shoe to be too tight. If I had loosened the strap, it would have looked wrong because there would not have been any leftover strap to go through the buckle. Highly disappointed. However, I ordered another pair - hoping the manufacturing defect is not present in all pairs.

I have a wide foot, and am always looking for stylish sandals with comfort plus a little bit of height, a difficult equation. While the footbed was wide enough, there was an odd gap between the straps and the top of my foot. Perhaps these are built for someone with a very high arch, making their foot tall from top to bottom? In any case, they didn't work for me.
