My favorite winter tights. The inside is a nice brushed fleece. The zip pocket is too small for an iphone so I use it for keys. That's okay as running in winter you're wearing a jacket with pockets for carrying a phone. I like they are an inch or two longer than other brands and with the ankle zips are easy to get on. There's reflective blazes on the lower legs that let you be seen during those runs in the dark.

These are super warm for the coldest days hiking or just running errands. I can even pair them with a jacket and boots to dress them up.

These pants are soft, flexible, warm and supple to various movements. I've ran 13 miles in 30F degree weather, raced 10ks at 0F, and skied in between all of these temperatures. The pants movement are great. They are flexible to any movement, although they lack the support of the accelero tights. Further, the fit is more relaxed, but still next to skin compared to the accelero tights. If you plan on doing any high-intensity exercise, or want to have another option for snowshoeing, hiking, or a base layer under pants like the Beta AR for alpine skiing, these pants will do the trick. I only wish the knot system on the pants were simpler and two strings like the accelero.

These are my absolute favorite leggings/pants I own. They are great for the gym, trail running, or just to keep you warm on fall camping trips. I overall give these a 10/10 and would buy again if they came in different colors.

I have ran in several different tights until I found the Stride tight. These are definitely in a league of there own when it comes to running tights. I have 3 pairs and wear them all winter in every temp range even rain. I do have windstopper tights from another brand, and honestly these are warmer when windy than windstopper is. The fleece fabric is just the right thickness and no matter how many miles you put them through they do not get all roly-poly like most all other brands tend to. (like in crotch area) Other than being expensive, I think they will outlast most others making them well worth the money.

I really dig these tights for cold weather running here in Montana. I took them out last night in some frigid conditions and they kept me warm and are very comfortable. Love the locking zippers and the pockets in the back which was big enough to store a house key and a small ipod. I think they will serve well for XC skiing as well! As with the other pieces of Arc'teryx gear I have, the fit, quality of construction, and intended use of product is tough to beat. Kudos.

I waffled between a 4 and a 5. The only draw back to these tights are the price. These tights are super comfortable, well made, and the perfect length for a 5' 8" tall woman. I would buy them again. I have found other tights of similar warmth and quality for about 2/3 the price, however, this is the ONLY tight that comes in the tall size. So in terms of fit, this is the only tight that works, which makes them worth the additional cost.

i generally move indoors to a treadmill during the Fall. these tights are warm and snug, and have allowed me to comfortably extend my outdoor running season. at 173 cm, the leg length (size small) seems a bit long, with some bunching in the knees. i suspect this, by design, is a necessary accommodation...and it is only a minor issue. many guys wear shorts over their tights for obvious reasons. the fabric on these tights is thick, so this superfluous layer may be eschewed.

These are way more than just tights. They are about twice as thick as you would expect a warm tight to be. They add modesty because the thicker material doesn't hug... uh... everything. I bought these for those very cold mornings from sub-freezing to negative wind chills. As an ultra runner I decided to pony up the big bucks for tights that will allow me long hours in the blistering cold. While I knocked these a star for cost... they are probably worth it. I was able to compare them in-store with a some noteworthy competitor's "winter" tights and there is no comparison. They extra $20-30 became a non-issue. They have a brushed fleece interior and are extra long to make sure those ankles keep warm. Pockets! I'm glad there are THREE waist pockets for distance running necessities. They are overlayed on top of the thick fabric so you don't sacrifice warmth for pockets. The only thing I could improve is for the pockets to have a stretchier material so that more can be shoved in. They could easily be lengthened as well. I've attached pictures of the pockets with common items to give you an idea of size. Overall... while it might be a gut check to drop the cash, like many other Arc'teryx items you'll be glad you did in the long haul.

I've owned these pants for 2 months now and love them. I use them for cycling in the rain and wind, never any issues with cold. The zippers really help tailor the fit, but do get a little tough to pull sometimes. Unzip before putting on and before taking off!

I have owned and loved a number of Arc'teryx jackets and thermal tops. So it was natural that I try their tights. While the tights themselves are well made and in keeping with the company's quality, I found the sizing problematic. At 5'8" I thought the small would fit fine. It does not. I would have to be 5'10" or considerably heavier to fit these properly, I imagine. The tights are too long and too generous in the cut to fit me. I have worn them and cannot return them, which is my own fault. I wish that Arc'teryx made their men's pants in XS or really did have a true size small. While I will look to Arc'teryx for shirts and jackets, I will have to turn elsewhere for pants, which is too bad.
