I found the fit to be perfect for my hands but both mitts have started coming apart between the thumb and rest of the hand. I received them just over a year ago for Christmas and love them as a liner mitt but am so disappointed that they didn't last longer.

I bought these to wear while walking in the winter. They are a good weight for this semi-active activity. They would not be warm enough for extended, inactive periods in the cold, but that is expected based. They look just like the picture and are exactly what I was expecting. I would say I have average sized hands and the S/M fit me perfectly. #SmartwoolLove

I wear them mostly when I go to town and it's cold out they are not a thick mittens so I can easily them in my purse

I love these mittens. They are my second pair and I forgot how smooth and lovely they are when new. The purple color is beautiful. They wear well for many seasons. I am a big kitten wearer since my hands and feet get so chilly and I highly recommend these for commuting or on a night out. They are small enough to put in a small purse for the day or night but make a huge difference for warmth in New England winters.

These are my favorite mittens! Great for out and about and driving and easy to fit in your pocket. Perfect to keep the wind off your hands but not a large, bulky mitten.

These mittens are so warm without being bulky. They allow you to be flexible a bit like a glove but keep your fingers so much warmer.

I now own two pairs of these and they are amazing to run in and they're perfect for a quick light weight glove that's still very warm.

I've been wearing two pairs of gloves while running outside and my hands have been freezing. These mittens are the only thing that have kept my hands warm.

Use for x-country skiing. Excellent for staying warm at the beginning of a ski, but being breathable as I warm up. New favourite gloves for being active, and its sleek material makes it also the perfect glove for going out in the city.

I bought these mittens to wear as a liner for my ski mittens. They are very soft and comfortable, but do not add enough warmth for my purpose! However, I'm sure I'll get some use out of them and I'm glad to have them.

Warm and comfy, these mittens are great for walking the dog and quick errands!

These are perfect. I got them for my fiancee and she loves to use them. Super soft.

Love these gloves. A lot warmer than expected. Not waterproof of course, but water resistant. I'm going to order another pair in the other color (black). Taupe is very pretty in person. I'm happy with this purchase.

My wife and I live in the PNW and wet conditions are always an issue when hiking. Normal gloves and damp hands don't work together well. When i saw this option from SW I couldn't help myself and ordered some for both of us. The tight knit wool is resistant enough to protect from everything but the hardest wind. The thermal property off the wool keeps or hands warm and comfortable. The reason i went with mitts it's now i don't have to worry about turning a pair of gloves inside out and not get them back together again on the trail anymore. Love them!

I am a year round runner. I was unable to purchase my mittens locally so I went on line. I am convinced these are the best mittens for any temperature outside.

Fingers never stayed so warm before. Ohio weather can be cold.

When I first got these mittens I was disappointed in how thin they felt and how they weren't lined. But after wearing them in cold weather situations, they are the greatest pair of mittens I have even owned! Unfortunately I have had a blonde moment and cannot seem to locate them and I have been so disappointed because they are just so wonderful. I will be ordering another pair within the next week because they were that great!

I bought these mittens to use when I am coaching ice hockey in very cold ice rinks. They were thinner than I expected so I almost sent them back but I am so glad that I didn't. Even though they don't have a liner they are incredibly warm and keep my hands nice and toasty even in the coldest rinks.

Small.

Seems like a well made and warm mitten, but unfortunately the smallest size is still too big for my hands (I have tiny hands) and so the smart tech thumb doesn't work well for me. Aside from the size, it has a nice feel to it and the liner seems like it would add a nice layer of warmth when worn. The purple is a cute color as well.
