Very nice dress! Flattering! Accentuates the bust and slims the lower body. Am going to take this on a cruise this summer to wear for our formal night. It's nice and lightweight.

Perfect dress! Bought it for a wedding in January, but since it arrived early, was also able to wear it to a Christmas party already. 5'5', 125 pounds, and bought a size 4. I'm smaller busted, so I added a permanent "tack" in the middle so that it laid flat. Got lots of compliments on it. I was a bit wary of buying a dress such as this online, but a friend recommended Zappos. I was not disappointed!

Wow, this is one of the best dresses that I have ever purchased. I was looking for a vintage-type of look, classy but comfortable. The lace- lined top has a little give so it does not bind at the shoulders. The black portion of the dress has some support--enough so that you don't have to invest in a collection of support undergarments to try on with the dress to make sure that everything looks good. I am 5'4", wide shoulders and very long arms, 38" bust, 28" waist and 34" hips. I ordered a size 12 due to my shoulders--the fit was perfect. I think the dress style and cut would work on almost every size {especially someone very busty (like me) or very hippy}. If you travel a lot like I do, this dress is an extra bonus--no ironing needed.

Sleek dress. The bodice has beige/skin tone under the lace. Hits above the knee. Sizing is consistent with the rest of the Adrianna Papell line. The sleeves hit me just above mid forearm.

Love this dress! It fit like a glove, and is so classy. This is an investment because it can be worn to so many events. Their sizing chart was exactly on point. 5 stars!

I searched local malls, looking for a dress for my 45th high school reunion. Couldn't find anything I liked. I took a chance and ordered this dress. It was perfect! Comfortable and slimming, the lace gives it just enough to make this a bit sassy.

Great dress in general! Was worried it wouldn’t work for Christmas party but it did! The only qualm I have is that it doesn’t have a any lining under the black sheath part so that the material tends to cling to where a typical stocking waistband hits at the midsection. I resolved the issue by wearing a pair of stockings with a wide band. Lack of a lining seems to be an issue with most dresses these days, however, so not atypical of this one per se. Overall, this dress looks fabulous and I love it for my wide shoulders and short-ish waist - the empire bodice cut is great for us more apple or athletic shaped bods. I also love the length as it hits at the perfect place right about the knees. I’m a size 8-10 and 5’7”.

Didn't work for me. Too "old lady". Lace can do that. Plus it didn't really support my chest right. I would be wanting to pull it down and get in position all night if I kept it. May work for others, just not for me.
