This is the improved/updated version of the split rolling duffel. The Alpha 2 now has better wheels, the zippers on the 2 smaller outside pockets now can be locked together with the TSA lock (previous model the 2 pocket zippers "zipped" away from each other preventing them from locking with each other). Still another exterior narrow pocket on opposite side. Inside, there is now a large mesh pocket. The brown has a light beige interior, the gray has bright orange and the black has standard gray interior. For me, I only wish they had put a larger outside pocket on the exterior of the big flap- that opens the main compartment, suitable for quickly grabbing a sweater, a light jacket or even reading materials. I know it's a duffel...but convenience is paramount when traveling.
