Firstly, I didn't like the color. More importantly, I didn't find the fit good and they weren't comfortable. Unfortunately New Balance shoes are not what they used to be. And not enough styles are made in narrow widths

These look "fat" on my feet- they're very wide across the top and much more chunky looking than I'd surmised from the photos. I'm returning them- not my style.

I wear New Balance 574 daily love them. I wear New Balance 847 for working out and walking. I liked the price of the 877 show but it is not as comfortable as my other two.

The shoes are mostly comfortable and look good, but I was disappointed with the lack of cushioning. I went for a couple of long walks and I felt like I was walking barefoot on concrete. I had to get gel insoles just a couple of weeks after I bought them.

They’ve made a larger toe box but have also increased the width in the back. The heel area is loose and so my foot never feels snug enough. My ankles swell by evening so the show loosens even more when I put it on the next morning. As the shoe expands over time, now the muscle on my calf is constantly tight trying to maintain balance inside the shoe.

The shoes were short and narrow for the size ordered. I ordered a 9 and a half 2x wide. They were more like a 9 medium.. I had a previous similar pair of New Balance that were more true in sizing, but they were made in the US. I ordered the new pair because it is hard to find the 2x wide. I needed that because of recent foot surgery. I had always been pleased with New Balance shoes before.

Have always liked NB shoes. Recently had foot surgery and was recommended to a competitor shoe. Makes NB shoes feel like there is no support and no cushion. Almost returned them but thought maybe they'd be ok after foot healed. Both feet hurt after 1/2 hour walking. :(

I found the shoe to be not very comfortable. Especially bothersome in the heel area of my feet!

I wear these every day. I have a lot of arthritis in my feet, which is very painful, and the pdiatrist I was seeing recommended NB series 600 or greater. The bad thing about these shoes is the foam cushioning which gets extremely hard and does absolutely nothing to help with the pain in my feet. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any shoes that do not have the foam cushiuning.

These shoes felt like I was wearing shoe boxes, they were so wide. Too bad because I liked the color. They will be returned.

This was a wide shoe for being a 2a Narrow. It had a wide toe box and boxy look. I returned them.

Just received today, but so far they seem perfect. Length and width are true to size, tongue is long enough so laces dont slip over them and onto my instep, toe box is roomy and they look great on. After walking on icy, melting snow today I did not slip at all the way I did just moments before in Merrill’s. These are very sturdy shoes so they are supporting my foot extremely well, yet not causing any pain or fatigue and not stretching out with movement the way other shoes do. Great shoes!
I'd also recommend:

Arch support was not that great, but worst problem was that the tongue is too short so laces kepts going over the end of the tongue causing the shoe to be too loose. Also, it was as though there was a different pattern to follow for each shoe as the opening of the left shoe was larger than the right. I have now become increasingly skeptical of New Balance shoes.

Very difficult to put on, even with a shoe horn. And they come untied way too often, which is especially problematic when walking dogs

I walk several miles each day. This shoe purchased always from LL Bean has been my favorite for yeas. My most recent purchase (returned) was very stiff and although it was marked 9.5B it was very tight and too short. I won't be purchasing it again.

Wow! As in "bad wow". What happened to New Balance? I decided to try these in 8.5 wide (due to reviews saying get 1/2 size larger - which I have done in the past with NB), but these are flopping around like flippers! The toe box seemed extra wide and high, I was wearing a medium weight running sock. I have another style coming so I am hoping those will fit better. Great color though! That's about the only thing I like about these. Going back....

This sneaker is a lovely color, but a poor fit, short and wide, not up to what I expect from New. Balance. Has New Balance changed to a different sizing system or a different factory? New Balance has alway been one of the only brands to make sneakers in a narrow width, but this sneaker is short and wide, definitely disappointing.

I have always worn 10-1/2 NB shoes and loved them. These were too short to keep. The shoes themselves were light and comfortable, despite being too short for me.

The toe box is scrimpy. My last pair of NB fell apart and the company didn't stand behind its product. Disappointing.

These shoes have fit well however, months into wearing them, they have developed a terrible squeak! For some reason, I have found this true of many of the new sneakers. It is very annoying.

Really like this shoe, BUT, the insole on the heel is not smoothly installed. The result - even after only wearing them once, my heel was hurting and starting to get a blister. So disappointed that I have to return them.
