I have been searching for a pair of linen pants for awhile now as my wife has always been bragging how comfortable her's are. This is the first pair that has fit me comfortably. I bought one pair and after wearing them, I ended up ordering a second pair as soon as possible. They are loose fitting, but that is what I wanted in a pair of linen pants. I also have larger thighs so many pants are too snug for me to be comfortable, but these are plenty roomy. I love them and they are my go to pair of relaxing pants. They are very light and work well on hot, humid days. I prefer wearing instead of shorts, even on hot, humid days. They are one length only so they were long for me, but my wife hemmed them for me and now they are perfect. I wish they had options for length so I could avoid the hemming, but even with that issue, I'm still leaving these at 5 stars. If they get more colors, I'll be buying more pairs.

Over the years, I have purchased several pairs of linen beach pants for wear over my swimsuit by the pool, but I have not found any I really liked until now. These Tommy Bahama "On the Beach" pants are just what I've been looking for all along. Good quality construction and stitching. The fabric feels substantial without being too thick and came out of the washer very well -- minimal shrinkage, and not really in need of pressing for casual pool wear. I am 34 to 35 waist and figured that the medium could be too snug so I got the large, The fit is very good for me, loose and comfortable without feeling sloppy large. I thought I would want to have the waist taken in, but decided not to, because I can cinch it up sufficiently with the drawstring, and the looseness around the hips is good for fitting comfortably over a swimsuit. I use a 32-inch inseam, On these pants, the "Large" inseam is listed as 34 but on the pair I got it is more like 36, so a taller guy than I will not have a problem. I had mine shortened to a true 32 inseam and it's fine.

Very comfortable and airy. They are almost as cool as a pair of shorts. The inseam is pretty long.

Tried several brands of linen pants and these fit the best on my husband, who has a small waist but muscular thighs.

Awesome pants! I was looking for something that looked nice but was comfortable and perfect for our vacations. These are perfect. I was between sizes on the chart and went on the larger size and am glad I did - they fit perfectly.

These pants are comfortable, fit great, and look just as great.
