This had possibilities, but there isn't any padding on the sole. It is covered, so initially it is soft to the touch. But after wearing around the house for 10 minutes, I realized how I couldn't stand having no padding. And there is enough of a heel that you can't add any insert and have it remain stationary.

I love these shoes! They are exactly what I was looking for to wear at my beach wedding--casual with style. They are very comfortable and the fit is great. I usually wear a 38 but ordered 39 and they are just right.

First of all, I love Zappos and their speedy shipping. I ordered these shoes and love them. The amazing thing about the now three pairs of Joseph Seibel shoes that I own, is that straight out of the box they feel wonderful and I never have to go through a break-in period--this is coming from a Texas girl that wears flip flops 365 days a year.

I love the styling of these shoes but unfortunately I feel like I am walking in heels. The arch support is definitely there but it feels like a golf ball was inserted in the shoe. I have several pairs of Josef Seibel sandals because how comfortable they usually are. I was disappointed in the comfort of these sandals. It was hard to return them because I loved the styling so much.

I bought these last spring and have had them for a year now. They are fantastically comfortable - more so than a certain flat German sandal known for its extreme comfort and its popularity with hippies. am very happy with my purchase!

I did not have high hopes when ordering these since the heel seemed just a little higher than I am used to - but they are perfect. and SO COMFY! I have wide feet and narrow heels, very particular about my shoes as i had prior surgeries and also arthritis. They are chic and comfortable. High quality material.

Loved this show. Love Josef seibel overall. Decent arch support, cute and comfortable. Could have used a slightly narrower fit but they were on sale, so I think I’ll keep them.

Great shoe! The reason for not answering whether the width was true and arch support adequate is because I was unable to fasten the strap; therefore, unable to wear the shoe long enough to determine the true feel of the shoe. The heel is a good height. The leather sturdy enough to provide some side support without being uncomfortable. I would recommend this shoe to a friend.

This is an amazing shoe! I wore it to a family wedding and was able to dance all night long. It's cushy, supportive and pretty. I'll also be able to wear it with other "non-wedding" attire. Get this shoe!

2nd pair of Ruth shoes. It does not disappoint, fab comfortable fit-great with skirts or denim. Walked hours in vacation in these shoes!

Beautiful shoe but a little shinier than I had hoped. Returned it to look for a neutral or nude shoe to wear with white pants. Still, a comfortable shoe with a great look.

These shoes have relaxed vibe with a still polished look. The camel is perfect for dress pants, great with jeans. I love that they have that moderate comfy heel plus soft leather suede lining. I am between 6.5 and 7 medium in shoes these days and the 37 fits perfectly. It is a roomy, relaxed fit in which you can still play dress up!

This is another very comfortable pair of shoes by my favorite brand. Great right out of the box,no breaking in. Very well made. Nice leather.

These shoes are comfortable as soon as you put them on. Great for walking. I plan on wearing them while traveling and doing a lot of sightseeing. Stylish also!

Pretty Big Fan of Josef Seibel right now. I am loving the fact I can wear a heel all day and my feel are comfortable. I have some black lace up ones (Ruth 29) that are even more comfortable than these, due I believe to the fact I can lace them up so I can adjust the width a bit. I almost always wear flats, I am on my feet a lot and we have concrete floors in our shop. Yet I have worn these for 8 hour stretches and have walked over a mile and they continue to be comfortable. I think it has to do with a slight padding in the platform (which is about 3/4") so the ball of my foot is being supported but it also has a bit of softness. These just seem to be made for my foot. The Ruth 29 are even better. I get compliments on them all the time, even an older guy I buy wine from noticed my shoes. I am 61 and like the fact that these give me a bit of a lift height and style wise

Its not often I find a shoe that I can wear all day in comfort, this is one of those! The combination of heel height and the little bit of wedge platform makes this extremely comfortable for walking. The insole is soft, the straps don't cut into any toes. Bought the black and am returning for the camel color.

Super comfortable right out of the box, but too high a heel for me. So sad, LOVE this shoe!

Perfect for a destination wedding shoe. Comfortable and could easily navigate soft ground. Can be dressed up or down. Was also able to put in my orthotics without issue. Good for people with foot problems.

I purchased these shoes for my college-bound daughter. It was love at first sight. They went straight from the box to her feet.

Very comfortable, wearable shoe. The color is more of a platinum than a silver. Can dress them up or down. I would feel comfortable wearing them to a wedding or with blue jeans.

Love these! I have a fallen arch so most shoes with heel uncomfortable. I was looking for stylish shoes with heel to use with skirts or jeans. This is my second Josef Seibel pair of shoes and love this brand for style and comfort - finally!
