Vidda Pros are, by far, the best outdoor trousers out there. I now have four pairs - I wear them for hiking and working indoors and out, and they have basically replaced jeans in my wardrobe. People think of them as old school outdoor clothes, and in Nordic countries I see a lot of good looking middle-aged men in them. They are comfortable, look great IMO, and virtually indestructible. They do not actually have zip-off legs (not sure why Zappos says they do), however they have adjustable bottom cuffs (snaps basically) which has been surprisingly useful for me. The quality is absolutely great tho the company was sold several years ago and manufactures them in Vietnam now. The fit, for me, is great. I am 5'3", 115 lb, with a straight athletic build, 27" waist, big butt, no hips, long torso. The Euro size 36 S (short inseam, 27"-28" waist) fit me perfect with room for leggings or long underwear. Size 34 S looked cuter but fit more tightly and slightly restricted motion. The R inseam is way too long for me, and I'm sorry to see Zappos does not currently carry the short inseam.

These would probably be really cute if they fit. (The fabric is really nice) I ordered the largest women's size they offer (Size 48 or US 18) and they were so TEENY TINY I couldn't even get them on. I typically wear a size 16 but I like my pants a little roomier so I can wear long johns under them in the winter. The funny part is I also ordered a pair of Columbia Just Right™ Straight Leg Pant in a size 18 and they were HUGE. LOL I wish companies could get together and try to have some sort of guidelines for sizing.

These pants are rugged, super versatile, and VERY cute! I've received many compliments on them in the two or three times I've worn them. The waist was just a touch snug but that's great bc I'm often putting tools in my pockets and it reduces any risk of a plumber crack when I'm working in a customer's home. The side pockets fit my iPhone plus and there are many pockets to spare. The detail makes me love them even more with a cute tiny Swedish flag and the animal logo of Fjallraven design. The legs are roomy and material is tough. They will swish if your legs rub together but I didn't have a problem with that. Perfect! Can't wait to try out more of this brand!

These pants are awesome! And for people who think they are too long - remember these were made in Sweden - where the tallest women in the world live! I'm 5'8" and finally got pants that go all the way to the floor! Nice fit - I'm smaller in my waist than hips and these curve nicely. These are NOT summer weight hikers. They will be great in cooler or wet weather -- perfect for my Scotland trip to the Highlands. They are water and wind resistant. TONS of perfect pockets! I thought they might be lighter weight to hike in this summer but not so -- but they fit so well they're a keeper!!

I read a number of reviews on line for these pants. The pants however are cut wrong for my body and the length is ridiculous. The waist ran very small so I had to size up, which meant the seat area was very large and puffed out in the back. The pant length for the 42Short was 32" and on the 44Short was 34". Yes, the pant legs could be snapped to stay secure around the ankle, but they looked ridiculous with all of the extra length bunched above the ankle. Nice concept, sewing, and fabric.

Bad fit for long legs. The 38 fit across my hips but gapped at the waist and was much too short. It's not clear to me why manufacturers don't give women the same inseam choices that they give men. It's back to men's sizes for me.

I normally wear a size 2/26 and am 5'3" ~110 lbs.. Size 34 fit me perfectly. The pockets are amazing, the pants dry quickly, and adjustable ankle straps allow me to slip the pants into my rainboots. They do get very hot and trap air with my knee boots, but are comfortable with hiking boots. They are waterproof/water resistant but I was able to treat them with permethrin.

Just felt like I was swimming in them. If you like fitted clothes I would not recommend. Ordered a 46. I typically take a 32” waist or a 12-14. Waist slightly loose, but about right. Legs had a lot of extra material width wise, both in calf and thigh. Butt was saggy. Length was fine for someone who is 5’11. I would recommend RevolutionRace instead. Much more of a “skinny Jean” look.
