Love this shoe! I had a navy pair before and loved the comfort so had to get a black pair. The cork insoles are amazing!

Definitely the best pair of Converse I've ever owned. I've tried the canvas Jack Purcells and didn't like them, but these leather ones are much better. I like that the sole is a lower profile and not too thick. Great cushioning inside the shoe and run a little wider than regular Chucks, which I like. They run a little small though. Had to exchange for a half size larger and now they fit great.

I love these shoes. I usually wear 8½ in regular ladies shoes and sometimes a 9 in Nike runners. So when I ordered an 8 in these, they were perfect. They have a cork insole so they have more support and are more comfortable than other Converse. I now want to get them in white too but worried they might look too white. You know what I mean.

Nice looking shoes, solid construction. Definitely needs a decent amount of breaking in, the leather at the heel end is pretty stiff so you may get a little sore at first, wear higher cut socks. Since they're leather I assume they'll get more pliable and comfy with time and should hold up longer than canvas.

Nice shoe, easier to keep clean than canvas. My wife likes it and finds them comfortable and they're very stylish. Look great on her paired with the newer skinny jeans.

These shows are amazing! I got the 7.5 (woman's size) and it was just a tad bit bigger but I can live with it. What really surprised me was the comfort of the shoe. I have long arches in my foot so finding shoes that suite my weird feet is hard, but these are my most comfy pair of converse. I highly recommend this!

Great looking pair of shoes. The black leather looks good, doesn't look cheap. The Jack Purcells are a little fancier than your normal pair of Chucks. They still need breaking-in like your classic Chuck Taylor All Stars. Also, there is slightly more cushion than the classics. Definitely would recommend. And as always, Zappos is great!

These are excellent shoes. I previously had Chuck Taylors and wore them out. These are a higher quality construction and materials than the Chucks. I appreciate that the footbed is removable and provides real support. I can't say enough about how much I like them.

Great looking shoes. I find the Jack Purcell's to be a bit wider than the Chucks - they fit great on my slightly wider feet.

Really cute and comfortable shoe. Though it runs big. I normally wear 8 in women's sneakers, had to order this shoe in size 7. Really like it.

I purchased the black leather version of this shoe. I ordered my regular converse size in these, which is an 8. they are super comfortable straight out of the box.

Wonderfully comfortable and fit is true to size. While the insert gives good support, there was enough room and depth in the heel so that I could use my own orthotic (I'm flat footed). Plus they are just so cute! I'm thinking of ordering another color.

These shoes are so much fun! I wore them for the 4th of July. I received many compliments and they are very comfortable. Looking forward to more excuses to wear them.

Really like these shoes. Unlike other versions, these are a lightweight, but durable leather. I didn't know that when I ordered them. They are comfortable and look good with shorts.

I love this shoe. I have them in every color. I'm a hairdresser and on my feet all day and they are so comfy. Even to go to the city they work all day. Enjoy.

Shoes look GREAT! My only complaint is that they changed the insoles to a cork, which is thicker than all my other Jacks. This makes the shoe feel about a half size small.

I absolutely love this shoe, it's a classic. My white canvas pair wore out and I couldn't get all the stains out so I decided to go with the leather. The shoe fits great and the leather is not too stiff. I like that the tongue is not attached to the shoe so it is easy to get on unlike some of the canvas versions. I don't like wearing these as slip ons so I try to avoid the attached tongue if at all possible. The only think I don't like is the laces. I'm not sure why they don't come with standard flat laces. I know that no one else will notice this detail change but I'm not a huge fan of the think round laces for this shoe.

Jack Purcell shoes are the slightly more upscale sibling of the Converse Jack Taylor shoes and the best Jack Purcells have the leather upper.The thin layer of soft leather bonded to canvas adds rain resistance and they look nice enough for casual Friday at the office or for a night out with sports coat and slacks. The JP's fit true to size in length but are very snug across the toe box, due in part to their cushy insole. I wear them with thick socks in the house two hours a day for a week and that loosens them up enough to wear all day. After a few weeks of frequent wear they shape themselves to your foot for a snug and comfortable fit.The leather upper is rain resistant and cleans easily with a dab of Dawn soap on a paper towel.

The shoe looks great, but I'm having the heel running problem.

This is my fourth pair and I don't plan on stopping. This shoe is timeless and goes with everything. This is the first pair that i buy online and it felt a little bigger. I always get the 8.5 but for some reason these didn't fit as snug as the other pairs I've purchased in the past.

These shoes are much more comfortable than the all-stars, but they are very wide and not ideal for people with a narrow foot.

These are cute, but not what I expected. The reviews were mixed on sizing, many folks suggested they run small. I'm a true 7.5...so based on reviews I ordered an 8 (6 mens). I was disappointed to find they were too big. Also, with skinny jeans they kinda looked like clown shoes on me. I will look for another style.

The toe on these is way more narrow that most Converse with the rubber toe. I could tell I would get major blisters from them rubbing, and I was unwilling to go up a size to see if it would help because they don't do 12.5. The style looks great though.

These have a slick, classic look and are comfortable yet sophisticated. Perfect for interviewing for that job you know you're too good for. They are also great for making that girl you really like jealous by dating her almost equally attractive but easier to impress friend.
