If the scale is 1 to 10, I give Orthaheels Tide (and many other Orthaheels styles) a 15! My arches fell causing me incredible Achilles, shin & hip pain. Orthaheels were recommended to me by my doctor and they cured my pain practically the same day. I got the problems from going barefoot on a tile floor every day. Who knew! I have now owned several pairs for over a year. They are incredibly comfortable and this particular style is very easy to clean the foot bed with soap and water. They literally saved me! They run half a size larger than what you would wear normally. I wear a women's 7½-8M and the 7 is perfect.

This is NOT like the original Orthaheel sandals I have worn for many years. They have an intolerable chemical smell that did not disipate after a week out of the box. I would never purchase this shoe again. I LOVED the old Orthaheel and would have purchased them many times over. Please bring back the old Orthaheel!!!

These are pretty cute and if you have a serious over-pronation problem these will probably work for you. However, it was too much for me. They were very uncomfortable. And they do stink. Going back.

First let me say that when I discovered Orthaheel sandals I was ecstatic! Finally I could wear a sandal that looked somewhat stylish instead of orthotic! I've ordered about 10 pair in the past 5 years from Zappos, Amazon and Shoegal. I've ordered the Tide most, and also the Carla. The Tide was exceptional for my feet. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis in my feet, plantar fasciitis, and a neuroma. I had to wear custom orthotics and clunky shoes. Orthaheel sandals freed me from spring to fall! Love them. Great arch support in the Tide and some in the Carla. The Tide is the best, with a rubber type sole that cleans easily. I have enough of these shoes to last me awhile and haven't ordered in a year. Unfortunately this year we moved into an apartment while we build a new home and my box of Orthaheel sandals I wanted to keep with me got packed into storage somewhere! So to have a summer shoe, I came on Zappos and ordered this Tide sandal only to find it has been changed. The sole is a different type rubber with less arch support and less heel cup. It also smells very strong of a weird and noticeable odor. Since I'm desperate I'll be keeping these sandals because they have some arch support, but I'm extremely disappointed with the Vionic company. They have cheapened a wonderful product. If you have no foot issues and do not necessarily need wonderful arch support, then you will probably love these sandals. The look is fantastic. And Zappos once again delivered them with the best service there is. I wish the Vionic Company would read the reviews under their shoes and listen to their customer's suggestions. I don't know how many times throughout the past 5 years I've seen customers asking for their other sandals to be put on the Tide footbed! It seems to be the most popular. Why change it and mess with success?!

Just not happy with fit of orthoheel since vionic took over. The straps are always too loose, as if everyone who needs arch support also has abnormally fat feet. I have worn my orthoheels until they literally fell apart, but I'm not going to get the chance to do that again, if I can't find any that fit.

These are great shoes that are super comfortable! I have high arches and need shoes that fit and are comfortable walking all day in. These shoes do just that! They are casual yet dressy and so they go with anything. The footbed is very supportive but cushy as well! The only thing on this particular Vionic style is that the depth of the toe piece seems short to me or maybe my foot is too thick but it rubbed my foot more than more other Vionic flip-flops do. Anyway these are wonderful shoes I would highly recommend them and they run true to size.

I just paired these up with an Orthaheel (prior to Vionic) Tide from a few years ago and they are a tiny but shorter...enough to make the shoe feel a little too small. The thing seems too far down on the sole so it seems a bit odd. On the fence as to whether I will keep them since the arch support remains very good and is what I need in a shoe. Also, they are darn cute. I have the black and those sequins look very nice...casual yet would also look nice with a dress. Why mess with success, people? The Tide original was so good.

I'm so disappointed in these sandals. I have 2 pair that I got last year - Orthaheel. The Vionic really sucks! It's wider, shorter, and has minimal support in the arch. It's uncomfortable, as well. Probably the only people who like Vionics are those that never tried the original Orthaheels.

I have these in the navy Ikat and the coral Ikat, and I am considering both the black Ikat and the teal floral. I have lots of problems with my feet, and these help so much! I wish I could wear them to work, but I have to have a closed toe closed heel shoe, which irritates my Haglund's. These shoes were not my first Vionics, so no break in time was necessary. If you are new to the brand I strongly recommend wearing them no more than an hour at a time until you get used to them. They realign your posture while you are wearing them, which can hurt at first. It does not take long until you are comfortable in them but be advised they are not fun for the first week when you are switching over. Once the adjustment is made you won't want to wear anything else. QVC has lots of videos where they show you the difference between Vionic and other brands. They are worth watching.

This arch support is just what my Dr ordered. Wear out 2-3 pairs a year, about all I wear except when I go somewhere in winter in the snow., all I wear in the house. Luv them and can tell such a difference when I come home and change out of my Merrels into Vionic. Wouldn't wear anything else. Wish they had more clog type shoes for winter w/ same arch support as I can't wear a closed shoe.

I have not had a bad pair of Vionic shoes yet and these have not disappointed me either. With peripheral neuropathy, the negative heel and good arch support are what I need. And these are also cute.

I usually wear a 9 - they really have these mis-sized. I read the reviews and some people were saying they sized down and others were saying they did not, and both seemed to be happy with the fit. I really should have bought an 8. I wore them out of the house - ironically to the mall, where I was trying to find them in black. I went to Nordstrom and they had them in an 8 and I tried them on and realized they fit so much better. By the time I got home, my arch in my left foot hurt really badly. I think it is partly because the shoes are a bit too big. When my mother came to visit she tried on the white ones (since I couldn't return them). She sometimes wears 9 1/2s, but usually 9s and her feet are thicker. They fit her perfectly. She also has high arches so hopefully they work well for her.

What a shock! Orthoheel is dead and gone. These are NOT them! Absolutely no arch support. No stabilizing bottom. These are cheap rubbery flip-flops. They hurt your knees and offer zero support. I am a Chiropractor of 23 years and have stopped all my patients from buying this trash. Sad day...

Oh, my gosh, I LOVE these flip flops!!! I wanted flip flops with arch support that I could wear to the beach and around water. These will serve this purpose PLUS they are super cute! I'm thrilled with this purchase!

I am new to Vionic, but love this particular style. I find it fits better than Tide II footbed in the same size. I recently needed to acclimate to orthotics, but didn't want to completely give up sandals. These are perfect for what I needed. Totally in love with the teal, too!

Great alternative to flip flops. The support on these shoes is phenomenal. Looks casual but won't leave your feet aching at the end of the day. I've had a pair for years & they hold up very well.

When I first tried these on, I was immediately ready to return them--they felt so uncomfortable. After reading the brochure, I realized that they were probably offering support I wasn't used to, so I gave them a second chance. After a couple of days, I returned to my old pair and was I surprised. They were a mess, no support and I could tell how poorly they were designed. This is my first experience with this brand and I am pleased. I saw reviews about a chemical smell not dissipating and I did not find that to be the case. Only issue is that they run about 1/2 size larger. I wear a 12 B or Medium (and rarely is that an issue for me.) Very comfortable for a flip flop.

I ordered 2 pair for the summer. I suffer with plantar fasciitis and these are the only sandals I wear. I normally wear a size 9.5 in all of my shoes. I ordered size 9 but they were about a half inch too big. I just got them in size 8 and they fit my feet perfectly. I have normal arches and normal width feet. I wear them all summer and really beat on them. I have been very pleased with them and they look nice on my feet.

Vionic's arch support is the best on the market. My feet pronate and these keep my feet in their correct position. I recently had Plantar Fasciaitis and these were the ONLY thing that I could walk with. The high arch, along with the heel cup, took the pressure off of my herl and made it bearable to walk until my treatment & PT was finished. This is my 3rd pair. The arch lasts a couple years for me, then needs to be replaced. I would LOVE to be able to wear Vionic shoes, too, but they are wide boats on my feet. (Toe box fits, but rest of shoe is VERY wide) Please consider making your shoes in widths and half sizes!

This is my second pair of Vionics and I love them both. Great support and so far are wearing well. I'm very hard on my shoes and am interested to see how they hold up.
