Great rain pants, they are warm so don't expect them to breathe at all. If I had to pick a negative it would be no pockets but other than that they are great.

These rain pants were amazing. They kept me totally dry during our Antarctica trip - rain, snow, sleet, etc. Totally recommend them!

This is a very good product and functions as detailed in the description. It Keeps me dry in inclement wheather. Once I am indoors, I tend to keep them on over my pants all day. It feels completely comfortable. The only thing, I wish it had pockets.

keeps the rain off, in conjunction with rubber boots and a rain jacket can go splashing though the puddles for hours and stay totally dry. the lack of pockets as others mention doesn't matter at all--jackets have pockets, right?!

I purchased these pants to wear while salmon and halibut fishing in Alaska, and to also wear while walking my dog during the Willamette Valley rains. As a size 16 woman, these men's large rain pants fit great over my jeans and are still roomy enough not to bind. I can't wait to try them out. Bring on the rain!!

Worked 3 out of 5 days in the rain at the NY Botanical Garden. Torrential downpours while transplanting trees. I never got wet. You might feel it's a bit thin for the temp, just layer up underneath which might make it snug. But the layering was not totally necessary. A big difference. Amazing!!

I have only had to use the rain pants once on my morning walk, but they performed perfectly, did not leak or sweat, and I am pleased with the fit and quality.

I walk everywhere, rain or shine, sometimes ten to twelve miles a day. I was looking for an affordable pair of rain pants that would keep me dry, and were also breathable. I searched for a long time. I went back and forth between more of a snow/ski pant, and these, but in the end, all I really needed was a pair of rain pants, and a pair that wouldn't leave my wallet empty. I wear a size Large in a 30 length, and the pants I ordered fit perfectly. I like watching the rain just bead right off these pants. They are very comfortable, and even have velcro to keep them snug around my boots. Without a pair of pants like these, I would be unable to walk as far as I do when it's pouring rain. I always wear a base layer under these pants when it's freezing cold, and I stay dry and they breathe well enough that I am not sweating. The pants have a draw-cord if you were to need to tighten the pants from the (front) inside, but with the Large and the size of my waist, I don't even need to use it. No pockets, but that doesn't bother me, as I usually keep items in my jacket or backpack.

I bought these due to having to work out in the weather. Theses pants performed great. They were easy to put on over my regular uniform pants and I had no problem getting them on with my work boots on. They do not restrict my movement in any way and keep me from sweating like conventional rain suits.

These are thin and rainproof. They kill the wind chill. I ride to/from work daily. Wet or cold, they rock. Super durable ride after ride. Rolls up nice n small, and fits in a sall pocket in my pack when not in use. A must have.

I bought the Rebel Roamer pants for summer fishing here in Georgia because they're light weight. I find them to be perfect for a hot rainy
tournament. Very comfortable and waterproof.

Finest hot weather pants on the market, light weight, dry instantly and breath. When blood or anything spills on them, just wipe it off! I am a professional fishing guide and need pants that are light weight and durable.

I'm 6'1 160 pounds with a 32 waist and a size small - 32 inseam fits me perfectly. Nothing highly sophisticating about these pants. Just made to keep the wet out and its does that.

They look just like my last pair that lasted at least 10 years before the waterproof membrane crumbled. They were mostly used for Search and Rescue. The down side of this new pair is that there are no openings to access pockets and they do not have an attached pouch to pack them in.

Pants fit great but are a little longer than advertised. Need more velcro at bottom for tighter sinching.

You can see in the pictures that the fuzzy side of the velcro is only about 1-1.5 inches beyond the hook side when the pant leg is fully let out. If you try to fold the pant leg over your ankle, like for hiking or tucking into tall rain boots, then the velco is ineffective. It's too short to secure the pants tightly. Waterproofing is good. Bought for cycling because of the velco, and this is yet another internet purchase I wouldn't have bought had I seen it in person.

These pants have worked great for keeping out the wet and the cold. There only real let down is that they have no pockets nor do the have any zippers to aid in donning and doffing as the weather changes, which makes them a little inconvenient.

Living in the Pacific Northwest I needed a decent pair of rain pants. These do a good job fulfilling that need. I normally wear 35Wx32L pants and ordered the Large with 32 inseam. Although I don't think it is clear in the description, I found these are cut to be overpants (as I had hoped) and they fit well over jeans. I only wish there were a pocket or two; even a patch pocket would be welcome.

Was replacing an older pair of Columbia Omnitech rain pants, also a step up from the lowest cost. The new pair is good, seems are consistent, sizing is fine. A couple of things that are evident in how they are now reducing costs, and thus not up to a 5-star rating:
The new rain pants do not have slits for pockets. I was used to being able to easily reach a phone underneath the rain pant, but the new pants are totally sealed. Not a big deal, but just a little less convenient (and from Columbia's perspective, fewer stiches).
Also, the new pants do not have any "breathable" lining. The old pants had a mesh interior, which allowed sweat to somewhat wick off when exercising. The new pants are not lined, just a waterproof exterior.
All-in-all though, for the price, these are reasonable for occasional use. They would not be sufficient if used on a daily basis (i.e. for work).

good pant. loose legs so you can put them on and off with boots on. would be perfect if they had just one pocket somewhere. Just one. or two even.
