This is a great hat for working outdoors and also the pool club. My melon is pretty big and most hats don't fit well. The XXL fits like a glove. My skin is irish white, and I've considered using white paint instead of sunblock, so the large circumference of this dome cover is greatly appreciated during summer. It provides great protection from the sun. Zappos pricing is great, and shipping is super fast. The hat was packed well, and as soon as I opened the box, my wife tried to steal it. I'm completely satisfied. I would note that like most straw hats, that some of the sharper bends on the hat do tend to break a little bit as the hat is handled more. I think it just happens, so don't be too crazy about it. Plus, at this price point, you can afford another in a year or two.

This hat provides the best sun shade of all the hats I have tried. I have very fare skin and a history of skin cancer in my family. I wear it in the yard and at the pool and in the water swimming with my 3 yr old daughter. It sags a little when wet but if you lay it on a flat surface the wide brim dries flat again. It is difficult to travel it on a plane or pack it in a suitcase. The way I use the hat, it takes a pretty good beating and I usually have to buy a new one every year. at this price though it doesn't hurt the wallet too much, and if it prevents serious skin damage or future cancer it will be well worth it.

Awesome hat the L/XL hat fit great I usually wear 7 3/8 ball caps. The hat is super comfortable with a great look. Buy it!

This is a great hat. This hat fits well and offers great sun protection. It arrived well packaged in perfect condition. As a big guy with a larger than average head, I've always been frustrated by the lack of sizes in the department stores.

This is the best hat for being out on the beach or anywhere outdoors for long hours, it fits my big head very well and the strap helps keep it in place on those windy days.. the only knock I have is the fragility of the straw, especially since it arrived with a few straws already cracked, I tried to take care of it as much as possible but more cracks keep showing up, I wish it arrived in better condition so it didn't have that weak point that led to consequence cracks!

This is a great hat for the beach. Looks exactly like what is advertised. The material is not very durable, so handle with care when packing.

I'm an outdoor salesman in the Southwest, and this hat really helps keep the sunrays from my face. It's large, fairly attractive for a straw hat, and not heavy for the size. Provides good protection.

I really like this hat. It has very wide brim that blocks the sun all around. It provides great protection to the back of your neck also. It could have been designed with some stronger material, but it is a nice hat. I mainly got it for fishing, but will use it for yard work as well.
