Love them! Just a great-looking classic boot, what can I say? The only downside is that I couldn't decide between black or brown. Ultimately went with black. Recently it dawned on me that I have several pairs of boots (a couple of them Fryes) that are too wide around my scrawny ankles and it started to annoy me. But these are nice and narrow at the ankle. They look good with skinnies but I can also wear them with boot cut jeans. I have Frye boots and shoes in both 8 and 7.5. On a hunch, I ordered 7.5 in these and it worked out.

These are fabulous boots. I had so many tries at finding a comfortable good looking ankle boot - I kept buying and returning (thank you for free returns Zappos!)Finally I tried these and they were perfect! The elastic at the ankle makes all the difference for comfort - the heel is just right and they are the highest quality leather and workmanship. Frye is always worth the investment!

I wear either a 5.5 or 6 medium. The 5.5 fit well. There is no need to break these booties in, as they are comfortable right out of the box. They are well made and look good with jeans or a skirt.

Stylish, Savvy and Comfy! What more could I ask from one of the most classic boot brands? This is my third pair of Frye's, but my first pair of "booties". Right out of the box I wore them all day - lots of walking - and they were super comfortable. I have wide feet, and was worried that the toe box would be too tight. But they were perfect. I wear with short skirts, long skirts, leggings and wide pants. Very versatile.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots! They were incredibly comfortable from the second I put them on and are not too big around my skinny ankles, unlike most boots. They're a fairly classic style and look great with skinny jeans, leggings or dresses. I bought them for work, which at my job involves quite a lot of working, and they're perfect. The quality is very good, just what you'd expect from Frye. Frye boots are a bit of an investment but worth every penny. The difference between them and cheaper boots, in terms of comfort and quality of construction, is night and day. This is my third pair and I'm addicted!

Love these boots. My normal size 7 fit perfect. Wish I could have one pair of every color. Toe is a little tight with a thick pair of socks.

Frye does it again! I am on my feet for most of the day and have no problems if I am wearing this boot. Comfortable, chic and what one would expect from Frye. I wear a size 6 and my foot is fairly narrow especially in the ankle. They work for me but if you are more of a Medium they should be perfect.

These are beautiful boots and a quality product, as expected, from Frye. Unfortunately the heel bothers my back. My problem, not the boot.

Pretty in whiskey color. Love with leggings and skinny jeans. Can't wait for Fall to wear them all the time. I always where 9 1/2 in frye boots and shoes but am usually a 9 in other styles.

Wow, any images I've seen haven't done justice to the beautiful whiskey leather. I got my regular size 10, and with my high instep and arches, there's still plenty of room, yet it goes in nicely at the ankle. These will be great with any pant leg circumference. Great heel height too. I'll wear these teaching long days. For reference, I have a generous 10 foot and got the 10s. Others might like to go down, but I like the fit of the 10.

Love these. Received for a Mother's Day present from my husband. Very comfortable and love the lighter color with the contrasting gore. I will wear most seasons and with lots of items in my wardrobe, skirts, dresses, jeans.

Cute boot with a great heel! Simple, timeless style. Feels about half a size smaller than marked.
