I have been wearing the Finn Comfort Ikebukuro style for several years now and they are wonderful!! I have slightly wide feet and have been wearing a 5 (UK-7/1/2 USA ) for a long time but the bunion on my right foot is getting a little worse so the shoes are feeling tight and rubbing. I went up to a 5/12 UK and that was better. I did need to add a very thin flat liner because the shoes were actually a bit roomy. I use prescription orthotics. These shoes offer more support than any others I have tried over the years and believe me I have tried many!!! And since I am an octogenarian ( 80+ ) that is a lot of shoes!! They not only help my feet but my knees and back too. Zappos ( always a wonderful experience shopping with them ) had only a very limited supply in my size and I didn't really like some of the color choices. I was a bit skeptical about the " Platin Maglia " color but took a chance and actually they have worked out well. There are so many different colors incorporated in the color that the shoes go with many different colored outfits. Thanks Zappos for being there for me when I need you! A.V. Wood

Awesome shoes! Expensive and worth it. Superior support. Superior toe box room Superior Quality. All leather except for sole, shoe strings and eyelets. Basic shoe with basic practical style. Not fancy. Great for travel. I have 3 pair of Finn Ikeburo shoes - red, navy and silver

These have been life changing shoes for me, a young woman with constant foot pain. The only footwear I can consistently walk/stand in for periods of time without substantial discomfort are Birkenstock sandals and Dansko clogs. Regular athletic sneakers (even Hokas!) lack sufficient support for me. These Finn Comfort shoes feel like an enclosed Birkenstock sandal - the sole feels similarly on the bottom of foot (I usually wear these without socks). I had high hopes for Birkenstock’s Bend sneaker. These sneakers are far superior in comfort. Bottom line: I cannot believe I spent this much money on a single pair of shoes but these have been 100% worth it for me. It also appears you can also purchase new insoles for these so I hope this will prolong the life of this admittedly very expensive shoe. Style: I’m younger than 40 and in a perfect world I wish I could be wearing more stylish footwear. It would be nice to have a more narrow toe box, for example. I’d rather be able to wear a cute ballet flat or loafer sometimes. But the comfort of these shoes has won out.

I loved, love, love this shoe, but it is too wide and slips on my left heel. I wish the design allowed for tighter lacing, but the spacing between the lacing is quite narrow and so are my heels. I tried all sorts of lacing options, but to no avail. I returned the shoes, but I'm grieving them..... This is a common problem for me with Finn Comfort shoes. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

Finn shoes are awesome in quality, fit and durability. The Ikebukuro style brings a smile because of the traditional style that makes the shoe so comfortable. Love the roomy toe box. I have three pair in joyful colors, red, platinum and this new navy which makes the traditional style upbeat. Love this new swirling pattern of of navy suede and gloss leather with the plain suede on the dorsal of the toe area. Traditional white shoe strings complement the white sole. Glad to see this upscale addition to tradition. Keep this fabulous Finn Ikebukuro traditional shoe. High quality craftsmanship with leather inner and outer construction matters.

These are my best shoes. Cute, sporty but more they help sore feet to feel better. In the past I even bought a half size larger for wearing socks but I love the 7 mediums.

Gosh, I really want to love these. They’re oh so comfy and supportive. I can see they’re made well. I just don’t like the way style looks on *my* feet and legs as well as I’d hoped. I’m keeping them because they are so very comfortable. And I know I will end up trying them with jeans next winter. Maybe that will change my mind.

I have wide flat feet with PF and neuromas, so buying shoes are a nightmare. Finn Comforts have truly been great for me. I’ve bought the Gomera and Barbuda styles with great success and comfort. When I needed a sneaker, I bought a pair of Hokas per recommendation from my Podiatrist. Those are good, really good, but rather Frankenstein-ish on my feet. I was aware of the Ikebukuro but the price kept me away until now. I bought these with concern as I have very wide feet but Zappos makes returns really easy. My goodness, out of the box, these fit great! Like I’m Cinderella! I took my time with them, made sure we weren’t honeymooning before writing this review because comfort/support is paramount but cost is always a consideration. Therefore, in all honesty, if you’re looking for support, comfort, and assurance that your feet aren’t going to hurt horribly at the end of a long day, take a chance on these beauties. Plus, these are CUTE! A coworker asked me about them and said ‘when you have small feet any shoe looks good’. I’m a size 9.5W! So I get great support in a sneaker that encapsulates my foot in comfort AND it looks small and cool. Yay!

Searching for a athleisure summer shoe- literally tried 20 pairs of shoes (thank you Zappos) I have Achilles issues on my right and a knee arthritis on my left. Supportive shoes are imperative. These shoes are a dream. Comfortable on first wear, Cute, Soft Leather and just the right width. They are a pretty penny but worth it!

Rocker soles are the best if you need arch support and good for your ankles. it takes time to get used to, but they are amazing for long walks. I have been sizing up in the Finn Comfort brand. I usually wear 8-8 1/2, in the Finn"s I have been needing a 41 or a 6.5UK sizing. its a challenge to get the sizing right, but these shoes are well made and worth the troubles.

These just became my new favorite shoes. I have foot issues as a former dancer, and these are perfect. True to size, adorable, and most importantly COMFORTABLE without being obviously so. LOVE!

I’ve been wearing Finn Comfort sandals for 20 years — the only sandals recommended by my podiatrist after foot surgery. This is the first time I tried a closed toe/heel style because I worried toe box would be too narrow. I sized up half size from sandals and the fit is perfect. The “Schwarz Doodle” multi-color has brought DAILY compliments.

I have a narrow foot and the width of these shoes is Medium. but the extraordinary workmanship is such that I can't take them off. If you can tell me whether Finn Comfort makes a narrow shoe I would be interested in that for sure. In the mean time I will really enjoy these shoes so much even though they are a little wide for me. The cork sole is just so stabilizing! Thank you Diana Lanier

The shoe is very stiff soled and supportive, with a very good insole. I had trouble because the tip slopes too fast, and was pinching my big toe nail, which hurts. I had to return it. I have very "bony" feet, very low volume, so perhaps my foot slid forward too much.

This had a very pretty design and was well crafted in all leather. I usually take 6.5 size; however, it was a bit too short and my toe it the front of the shoe. I exchanged it for a 7 but unfortunately it ended up being too large all the way around. The heel slipped off and the shoe felt the half size larger that I had ordered. I am not sure if the 6.5 was off in sizing or there is that much difference in their half sizes. Unfortunately I did not keep the 6.5 to compare to the 7. The toe box on this shoe is wide and not particularly attractive in terms of making the front of the foot rounded, but I was willing to exchange that for the cute design and great construction of the shoe.

I own several pairs of finn comfort ikebukuro. Best walking shoe ever. The fit runs true to size. I wear 7.5 women’s 10. I love the wide toe box and you never need to add additional inserts for extra support. Can’t go wrong buying Finns.

I bought a second pair of these shoes and sent my old pair in to be resoled. I was able to compare where the old pair had stretched to accommodate the anatomy of my feet. I have very high arches, wide feet, and bunions. I find these shoes very comfortable, easy to break in, and my feet bother me a lot less than they used to. They are my everyday shoes, and I work at getting 10,000 steps a day. Excellent quality.

I have lots of feet problems including severe neuropathy in one foot. These shoes are unquestionably the most comfortable shoes I've worn that are not open toe. They're supportive, have excellent arch support and don't cause my feet to hurt nearly as much as other shoes. The cost is not insignificant, but once you bite the bullet you won't regret it. My biggest issue is that most of the colors are not very fashionable. How about a patent snakeskin or something cute like that ??? :-)
