I absolutely love these oxfords, but they squeak. I am hoping that this will subside with wear. I have put baby powder, but am hesitant to put lotions or oils, as suggested in many online blogs. But, given the high quality and comfort I am still giving them 5 stars.

For a women's oxford, these are just too adorable. Love the soft grey color; with no-show socks and ankle pants...a hit! Uber supportive, like all Finn Comforts. I sized up a half-size, like I usually do with their closed-toe shoes. (They seemed just a tad roomy with a thin trouser sock, but the next half-size down was too snug at the toes.) Looks like this was a 'fashion' style one-off batch. Buy a pair before they disappear! (If they get the black back in my size I'll grab those too!)

These shoes are not only stylish but very comfortable. The arch support is wonderful and I do not have high arches. They're perfect for work and honestly, I forget that I have them on.

I am really responding to the first review. When the Finn shoes squeak at first take the sole out and rub candle wax all around the edge and it will stop. If it does not then rub more. My shoe store showed me that trick and it really works. It is the edge of the inner sole rubbing on the inside of the shoe that you hear.

For the past two months, I have been searching for the perfect oxfords -- finally, I have found them. Although I know I must follow the physician's order that I wear oxfords to control the swelling in my feet, I couldn't find any shoes that were comfortable for both sitting and walking that didn't look like athletic shoes. I tried Naots, Mephistos, Merrells, Eccos, Josef Siebels, and even other Finn Comforts. Everything else was too flat, too wide or too narrow, clunky looking or feeling, and made my feet look huge. Then, Eureka, I had found it. The Eurekas fit true to size (I am regularly a size 8 and these were perfect in a size 5.5), the toe caps are just round enough to be comfortable without being clownish, and these shoes are great looking from the top (my view when I am wearing them!). I got them in the Nut/Marder Tan because I just didn't want another pair of black shoes. When I'm ready for black shoes, though, I think I'll be buying another pair of these. I was initially reluctant to pay this much for oxfords, but I'd rather have these than two pair of shoes that don't fit properly. These shoes make me happy and I know that I will love wearing them. So they're well worth the money.

I like these shoes except for one area that rubs on the outside of my foot. With the shoes, I received an extra pair of inserts that have ridges created by small bumps. I cannot find any information on these extra inserts. I would like to know exactly what they are for. I am not sure if I will send these back because of the one place that rubs. Very disappointing.
