I bought these two years ago and they only lasted two seasons before they started leaking. Hunter only accepts returns under a one-year warranty, so I took them to my "shoe guy" to have them re-sealed. The re-sealing only lasted a couple months before they started leaking again. I'm not going to keep taking them in for repair...so, here I am searching Zappos for a new pair of rain boots...that won't leak! It's a shame. These are beautiful boots, and I got a ton of compliments on them, but they're just NOT practical. I won't be purchasing expensive Hunters anytime soon.

I own several pair of Hunter Wellies, I was under the impression that the Hunter boot was the best wellie around. What I found out is this boot only lasts for 2 years before they started cracking all over. I wear my boots all most everyday in the spring, summer, fall to do gardening and other outdoor chores. Even with proper cleaning and care they still cracked maybe they just are not meant for hard wear. Even so I think they should last longer than 2 years at that price.

I have been searching for just the right rain boot and I found it!!! Thank you Zappos for getting them to me so fast! I have thin calves and have a hard time finding a boot that doesn't look so bulky. These fit my claves nicely with enough room for leggings and skinny jeans and look great with dresses as well. I'm 5'2" and the boots are not too tall for me. Love them and look forward to wearing them here in South Carolina!

I love these boots! They fit me well (I have a narrow foot) and they don't even look like they are made of rubber. I have gotten a lot of compliments on them. I put my orthotics in them which give me some insulation and support.

Love my boots. Best deal only at Zappos. Can't go wrong with Hunter boots.

Zappos was great! No one else had the boot, shipped within 2 days so I got before Christmas and shipping was free! Would use them over and over!

I received these hunter boots for Christmas just in time for the messy snow storms in January love love love these boots no water for me and my legs fit with my skinny jeans and wool socks everyone loves them as well as I do.

Great boots just didn't fit my leg. There wasn't enough room for a sock or leggins. Wish it would have worked. Love the look.

Love, love, love this boot. The only problem is the calf size and definitely true to size (no give /not enough of a gap to wear with knit leggings or skinny jeans). Returning/exchanging for another pair of Hunters. So sad.

My mom bought me these boots in December and a month later the insole was peeling at the heel inside of the boot and was giving me a blister. I returned them and got another pair, and now the second pair is doing the same thing again. Needless to say, I am returning this pair as well. On the fence as to whether this only occurs with this particular style (Carlyle) or if it is going to happen with all Hunter rain boots.

I decided to splurge and get a pair of quality rain boots because I was sick of having to get a new pair every year. Well, it's been a year and they are leaking! I was mortified to feel water coming in after only a year. I lift my heel and saw a clear split from normal wear. Normal wear is called walking but apparently these boots are only for standing in. If you actually walk to the bus stop, walk to buy groceries or walk your dog in the rain do not buy these. For the price I am more than disappointed. They lasted just as long as a 30$ no name pair. And of course Hunter said they only cover for a year, I bought them almost 14 months to the day they started to leak. Very sad times when a company can monopolize a product and not even be a quality product!
