I have used a regular length pro lite mat for a few years and love it, but was tired of my head or feet always ending up on the floor because I'm taller than the mat. Love the length and the quality of this mat. I look forward to using this mat for a long time!!

I have been using my new mat for several weeks now and I'm very happy with it! I purchased the longer one and it is the perfect size. It's easy to carry around and very comfortable too!

I bought this mat almost a month ago and wish I have done it sooner!! It is amazing no more headaches from laying on the hard studio floor, great on my joints, perfectly made!! I am tall about 5'8" and this mat works great, I actually fit on it. It's made sturdy enough for my everyday yoga practice!! Love it!!

For the thickness of this and that and the lightness of it is very comfortable to do yoga on very happy with purchase I would recommend this to anybody.

Use my map every day for our 15 minute yoga and medication routine and it's lovely. It's smooth, has enough depth for comfortable floor movements and the added benefit of buying a mini bolster as well is just perfect!

Exactly what I wanted, soft and deep, long, great stickability. Maybe slightly overpriced but I guess you get what you pay for. Here's to a lifetimes yoga.

I bought this mat about 3 weeks ago, and am overall pleased with my purchase! Did a lot of research, so was pretty nervous because so many people talk about the slipperiness never going away. So, the first night, I used a few towels dampened with plain water, used some elbow grease, and scrubbed the heck out of it. If I end up so sweaty that it's pooling at my hands, I just lay down a hand towel and voila! Problem solved! Also - I read in another purchaser's review to use core strength to keep yourself from slipping rather than just relying on being planted on the mat - that helps significantly. Wouldn't even be concerned with everyone saying it's so slippery. Buy it - you won't be disappointed! =D

I did a BUNCH of research and all reviews (consumer and expert) pointed to Manduka and the PROlite. I'm a first time yogi and have tested a few other mats, but have been really happy with my product. One thing to note, is I sweat quite a lot so I would recommend getting a towel. I purchased one of the Manduka towels and it works well.

As a Physician, I understand all of the health benefits yoga provides and that is just one reason I choose to practice. This mat provides enough cushion for most joint types with a superior grip for added stability. I love it so much I bought one for myself and one for my husband.

Better than any other mat I had in a decade of my practice. Perfect for Ashtanga: good grip, not too hard and not not soft, no smell, no slip. If you follow the instructions (put salt before first use) it becomes an amazing mat.

High quality. Would recommend for taller folks. Great mat all around.

Every morning I put my feet on this mat and begin my day. So far it is wearing in very nicely, and I find the padding perfect. The idea of a lifetime guarantee is very soothing.

love this mat. it provides good dense padding, it is easy to clean and the foam doesn't peel off or disintegrate after some use. it's going to last me awhile and I'm happy that it won't just be another thing that ends up quickly in a landfill due to poor quality. well made product to last a lifetime. it's good for me and good for the environment

We love both of our Manduka yoga mats we purchased from PROlite and keep them close at hand for any exercising we are doing. The cushion they are providing us, during our retirement years, encourages us to exercise more often.

I teach yoga in Spain, and decided to invest in this mat after my USa Pro mat grew so tatty it left a trail of bits every time I dragged it to class. I am so glad I invested in this mat. It is sturdy, my feet never slip when I do any of the warrior poses, my knees love the comfort and protection of the extra thickness and its larger than normal size ensures I am always covered! My only regret is that I didn't pick up a yoga bag. If you are a serious yoga practitioner I would advise you to buy this mat; you won't regret spending the extra dinero!

I researched yoga mats for months and asked fellow yogis and instructors about theirs. Finally decided to make the investment and to get the long mat even though I am only 5'5" tall. I love the mat and really like the extra length. I would definitely recommend the Manduka Prolite to anyone.

Great mat. You will slide/ slip: I am hoping that sliding stops as I continue utilizing the mat. I have followed all directions (sea salt application) and slide quite a bit when practicing- very frustrating.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and she was excited to finally get a mat that was long enough for her 5'10" height and long legs. Although heavier than her previous mat, she found it easily folded to fit in her suitcase because she takes it along when she travels.

I like this mat but you definitely need to perform the breaking in procedures that are provided, especially if you sweat a lot during your practice.

My only regret is that I either didn't see or Manduka hadn't released the long & wide mat yet, because I definitely would have gone for the even larger size mat.

I've gone through a few mats over the last few months, either claiming certain qualities and not following through. After research on types and brands of mats manduka was the best rated and best priced. After using my mat for after a month now, the only issue I have is it not gripping for my hands. I use a towel till it grips in. I've done the salt treatment and I believe it has helped. Love my mat can't wait till I don't have to use my towel and can't enjoy it in its full beauty!!
