This is my second pair of Minnetonka Venetians, to replace my first pair used as house slippers for the last 5 years. Overall, they are a great house slipper that won't make your feet too hot in the house, and you can take outside to get the mail. I could see using these as a driving moc as well. The one star deduction is due to the lacing. The tie knots are on the sides and the back, and I have had to retie 3 of them already, after only wearing for 2 weeks. My last pair did not have any exposed knots to come loose, causing re-ties. Get back to that design! Other than that, great slipper, will last a while, and would purchase again.

Nice comfortable shoe. However, the leather knots at the rear of the shoe do not stay tied. Kind of pain in the rear always trying to retie them.

The show was fine, but I have had to go down a full size -- and might just go down another half size as I plan to wear these without socks.

Shoes were true to photos. Wanted to love but the soles peeled off/came unglued in the first two weeks - as always Zappos was quick to issue a refund. Decided not to reorder. Normally a size 9 but after reading other reviews ordered an 8 and it fit fine. Good luck!

This is a very comfortable shoe! I feel like I'm wearing broken-in house-slippers all day. I like the look as well. I wear a size 11 in Sperrys, and the size 11 in the Minnetonka Venetian Slip-On was perfect. Some have reported that the size seems larger. My feet are wide and thick through the instep and these fit me like a glove. If your foot is narrower and not-so-thick through the instep, I can see where these could be a little loose. Perfect for me, though!

I bought a pair of these for my husband. When my son was recovering from surgery he "borrowed" these from his Dad. Then my other son had a birthday and requested a pair for himself. Long story short, I ended up buying 3 pairs, and everyone is happy.

Great material quality. The toe box feels a little more roomy than I would like, but overall a good and stylish shoe. Runs at least a half size large.

These are nice shoes. Good padding and a comfortable fit. They remind me a lot of a pair of clarks I had in terms on the way the insole felt.

January 2018, the knots are now discreetly glued and won't loosen. Good quality materials and fit as expected. My only complaint is a hard heel hook because of the tightly tied X-lacing on the back. I spent an hour with a pen knife struggling to loosen the glued laces, but it was worth the effort. Much softer heel now.
