I love this bag! The leather is soft and relatively lightweight. There are plenty of pockets, but not too many. The top slip hidden pocket is perfect for a cell phone. The only thing I would change is that I would prefer the straps a little wider. I have gotten many compliments on it, and I love the ice blue color.

Ok, so I love the purse itself - the leather is very soft and the pockets are functional. I can carry a lot of stuff without the bag looking bulky or heavy. My only disappointment - and it's a minor one - is that instead of the cool pink swirly lining shown in the picture (which was one of the things that attracted me to the bag), the actual lining is a duller silver/brown/maroon leaf pattern. Blah. But since no one else sees that but me it's still a lovely bag.

I love this purse! It is just the right size to hold everything I need without being huge. It has plenty of zippered pockets. The color is beautiful!

Being a connoisseur of purses, from Louis Vuitton to Coach bags, this Hobo is by far my very FAVORITE purse, ever! I've only owned it for a short while, but I am delighted I chose this style! The purse fits nicely on my shoulder with the thin straps, and the size is perfect for holding many items. I love the outside pockets, as well. If you decide to purchase this style of Hobo, I promise you'll be beyond pleased!

Once again, Hobo scores a home run. The contrasting trim and detailed stitching sets is apart from a standard issue black handbag. The leather is soft and the lining adds a bit of pop. I would definitely recommend this to friends!

Love this purse! The leather is soft and supple. The red color is beautiful, bright, and true. And the style is functional and beautiful. I wish the strap was a tiny bit longer to make it just that much more convenient for getting over my shoulder, but it's not bad.

Love this purse! I have read some reviews saying this purse is smaller than expected I want to say this is exactly the perfect sized purse not too big or small it can hold an iPad and still have room for a large wallet and more. Definitely not as big as a tote. Just a nice size purse. Very soft attractive and stylish. I have the snake skin looking one because I am tired of black. It's worth every penny in any color.

As advertised! This purse is a great size. As noted in other comments, the bottom does tend to droop, but it doesn't bother me. High quality leather, beautiful color and perfect pockets including the outer cell phone pocket. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the purse and Zappos and if I had the decision to make over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

This is exactly what I wanted! Supple, soft buttery leather, not stiff at all. Large enough to hold what I need but not too bulky.

I love this bag. It is a good color and made from nice soft leather. The interior is great; I can actually find things. It has ample pockets both inside and outside. I would buy this again.

Love this Hobo, blue is my black this season. Was a little disappointed in size, but quality and beauty and all the different compartments, definitely make up for the size! Hobo buyer for life!

I love this new Hobo bag. The front compartment is large enough for my keys so they don't end up lost in the bottom and then the back cell phone pocket is great for the same reason. Very functional all around. I do agree with the other reviews that the bottom sags but I love it so much I am keeping it. Perfectly fits everything I carry.

I love this purse. It is spacious without looking giant. I love the many slip and zip pockets, as I have to carry various items that need to be separated. The straps are long enough to hang comfortably on the shoulder, and it's easy to get into the purse (while still hanging on your shoulder). The leather is not stiff at all, and the bag sits upright when placed on the floor. Overall, it's a great bag!

I love this bag! A couple days after purchasing it, a random kid in the grocery store spilled some unidentifiable juice all over me and the bag. I was worried it would leave spots but the bag dried perfectly clean. As a mom-to-be, I love that it won't attract stains and stretches to fit quite a lot more than many bags of the same dimensions. Go ahead, you should get it.

This bag is awesome. Not only is the color fantastic, but the size and weight are perfect for those of us who want room but not an overnight bag to carry every day. Typical Hobo quality in every aspect of this bag!

This is a great bag. How could a smallish bag contain so much? Leather is very nice.

Love this purse! Soft leather, a harvest yellow that is just the right amount of bright and pockets for days! Never go scrounging around the bottom of your bag for keys again.. also a little smaller than bags I typically buy so it never gets too heavy

Beautiful bag. Straps could be beefier. LOVE the blue for jeans. Really loved the vintage black, but didn't need a another black bag.

Lovely color and Hobos are always well appointed. . . except the strap just seems a little flimsy for this bag. I couldn’t get past that—the carry just didn’t feel right for a bag this size.

Oops! I should have read the description more closely. Shoulder straps are not as long as I like for a shoulder back, and they are also rather thin. Lovely color. Nice quality, but it's going back.

Lovely lightweight bag. Great color - goes with everything - winter darks and summer lights! Would be nice if the drop of the straps was a couple inches longer to make it easier to swing over your shoulder. Would also be nice if the straps were slightly wider - they are very narrow. Apart from that, great bag, just the right amount of space and pockets inside and out for my need. And one more time, it is lovely and light which makes a big difference for an everyday bag.

I just received the Hobo Friar today and am a little underwhelmed. The color - Café - is darker than in the picture, and the handles are shorter than I expected. If you are wearing a winter coat or something else bulky, they will not fit over your shoulder. But the worst part is the smell. It smells slightly of skunk, which is less than ideal. I have taken a couple of dryer sheets and have wiped it inside and out. It helped a tiny bit, but not much. I am leaving the dryer sheets inside and draped around the outside overnight and if the skunk hasn't left by morning I will return the bag. Not worth it for that price!

This is my first Hobo purse and overall happy. The only con are the straps, wish they were thicker for the size of the purse, can be a bit on uncomfortable on shoulders depending on how full the purse is. Other than that the leather and color are awesome.

The granite color is more gray than brown, but I love the bag. It does not have a lot of structure and is very soft and lightweight. I like this, but those who want a more solid structured bag might not like this. I also like the size. Mine did not come with the "I love Hobo" tag. No big deal I guess.
