These things felt comfortable enough to wear a full day at work, but were really heavy on my feet. Think: clodhoppers. They're going back.

I wear pants suits to work every day and was looking for a pair of shoes that are dressy enough, but my primary motivation was comfort. These shoes are walk-all-over-the-city, wear-all-day comfortable. The heel height is mitigated by a reasonable platform. They are not the sexiest shoes, but my feet are very happy with this choice. My only complaint is that I cannot wear thin trouser socks with these shoes, as they are a little roomy. On the other hand, I have narrow feet, so unless I move into the narrow shoe market, this would be true of any shoe.

I wear a size 9 but they were too small in the 9 so ordered a 9.5 but then they were too big, even with thicker socks! My heels kept coming out with every step. Too bad because they are really cute! Returning.

I bought these because of all the reviews but I am really disappointed. They are too small. Funny, because I bought a size 9 in this shoe and in the Born Risa. The Born Dollie is too small and the Born Risa is too big. I don't get the sizing on these things. 1/2 size too big on the Born Rissa and 1/2 size too small on the Born Dollie! Returning both. Going to see if these come in a 1/2 size larger.

These shoes are as heavy as they look. I found them more of a chore than a comfort to wear. I kept them but should have sent them back. I've worn them a few times and will now be giving them to Goodwill. A little hard to walk in, too.

These are awesome, cute comfortable shoes! What else can I say -- too bad it seems that they are on their way out. I wish Born would just keep some styles year after year -- this would be one of them.

I love these shoes and they are so comfortable I can wear them all day. I like the book cut look with jeans and long pants. I purchased the shoes in brown and black because I know I will wear them a lot in the winter.

I absolutely love these shoes! Height without pain in my feet or my back. A wide enough toe box (normally need a wide shoe) in the medium and a chunky heel that I have been looking for. After a very brief break-in period, I hesitantly, worn these shoes for 10 hours working a Womens Expo and was extremely pleased. Look great for dress and casual.

Just got these in 8.5M in brown and black -- tried the 8M too (8M is my usual size for my 7.5W foot with bunion). The 8 was okay but the 8.5 allowed for thicker socks in the winter and an extra insole if I want to add it for all day wear in ultimate comfort. They are beautiful - don't know if I would wear them with skirts but they are great for trousers and jeans. They leather is soft but not flimsy, the platform and heel are way too comfortable for how high they are, and the ring on the outside is just badass enough for a suburban mom of 3 -- oh, and by the way, the black is a deep rich black and the brown is a beautiful dark tan -- kind of like coffee with a little milk in it. Overall I am thrilled with my Born shoes and Zappos! Thank you!

I loved this shoe from the moment I put it on. I have a 11-12 size foot and was surprised that it fit so well. The platform makes it so comfortable. I may get the black too.

Very comfortable and very fine fit shoe. Can't find a better shoe to purchase. Goes well with jeans.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable. Love the platform, makes the 3" feel like 1". They look great with all pants, have worn with dresses also. Highly recommend.

These shoes are awesome sauce! I bought the 8.5. I am on my feet all day as I am a teacher. I have wide feet and normally fit an 8w but these are perfect! Comfort to the max. I continue to receive compliments on these shoes.

I absolutely love these shoes they are extremely comfortable only minor problem I have is that it runs half size larger. I normally wear 8.5 but these I need to wear with athletic socks for it to feel like my true size. It’s too late for me to return them because I wore them a couple of times but I am going to order the black ones in a size 8.

This is a great shoe! Runs a half size small for me but then i purchased the one almost identical with 2 zippers on the sides and no buckle in a 7 1/2 and it fit great! Very comfortable and stylish! I love Born shoes!

I love these shoes! I'm no longer in my 20s and avoid higher heels but these shoes are perfect. They are so comfortable with amazing arch support. I can wear them every day!

I received my "Born Dollie" a couple days ago, I just opened the box, they are beautiful. The fit and height awesome. I was so afraid the would feel to high, not at all. I will be going back for more. I might just order the brown pair. Thank you so much for offering such great shoes.

These are a good choice if you want height, but also want a sturdy, secure, comfortable shoe. You will not wobble or feel you are risking falling or twisting an ankle. However, they are a little clunky looking. I take either a 6 or 6.5. with these, even with knee socks, the 6 fit best. Another minor problem is the sole is kind of slippery. I have other Borns with softer, soles that flex and grip better. Maybe walking outdoors for an extended period of time, will help scuff them up and make them less slippery.

Very nice shoes. Look great with jeans. I ordered a half size large and discovered the show was a little large but I like wearing them with thicker socks so it works out. Shoe is true to size.

I love heels but can't wear them for a long period of time, about only an hour. I wore these shoes for 8 hours and my feet didn't hurt at all. I was able to walk in my normal speed which is pretty quick without any problems. Recommended for the woman who loves heels, but can't wear them for an extended period.

I have been searching for comfortable shoes with heels forever. I can walk in these for a mile each way from my bus stop to the office. Expensive but worth every penny. Not a sexy pair of shoes but cute in its own way. Great with jeans and slacks.

I actually love these shoes. The heel height is perfect, the arch support is great, and it is just so comfortable...I was hoping that some of the reviews that said it ran a bit small was true, since Zappos was out of size 6 and ordered a 6 and 1/2. I am a true 6, and these are very true to size, as all other Born shoes I have worn are. These look beautiful on, the leather looks very rich and soft. In my size, it would have been perfect.

Love these shoes. So comfortable. Bought them in both black and brown. Wore them all day while traveling. Did lots of walking. Would get them in other colors if they had them!
