Look great however the rubber portion is very stiff and hard to walk in which is why I'm having to return.

Bought this boot to brave the Chicago winters. Turns out this "waterproof" boot isnt quite waterproof at all. Not sure if I have a defective set or not, but more than 3 inches of snow expect your foot to be soaked and frozen. Disappointing because I like Sperry products and though this was a good looking boot.

The boot fits really narrow and is uncomfortable when you're on your feet for extended periods of time. It feels like there is a rock right on the side of the inside of your foot. I was hoping when the boot broke in a little bit that it would go away but it hasn't. Beautiful boot, just not comfortable to walk in.

Boot was too big and just aren't very stylish. They're so bulky. Maybe they should make them less bulky, kind of like the Women's boot so they look good with my slim jeans.

These shoes were not what I expected based upon many previous Sperry purchases. They seem to be cheaply made and are not very sturdy to walk in. The construction is poor; the tongue on the left shoe wants to pull to the side and this bunches it up at the seam. I have to keep pulling it up. This occurs no matter how tight I tie the laces. I am disappointed with this purchase; I have loved all the products I have had in the past.

I selected these boots over the better-known boot because they were available and I liked Sperry, despite having some quality concerns in the past. These boots fit as expected, offer the perfect amount of room to wear nice wool socks, and are pretty lightweight. They're easy to wear all day long and not suffer from any foot soreness. The problem is that they're not even close to waterproof. I've had these boots for a while now, the problem has persisted since day 1. I just walked to my mailbox and back through 2" of powdery snow, a trip of less than 300'. My socks are completely soaked at the toe, damp down the arch, and the inside of the boot is damp. What good is the fit of the boot if it doesn't function as represented? Onto the wait list I go for a better boot.

This duckboot is definitely very stylish, but extremely dangerous. You would definitely think that being a sperry product that it would have tons of traction on wet surfaces.. nope. I have almost slipped in these boots several times to the point where I won't even bother wearing them on rainy/wet days. Definitely would return if I could.

I'd like to leave a review that was relevant to the current experience with the boots but I'm returning them. So in my opinion, any type of star rating for overall or comfort would be misleading but since I'm forced to select then they will only receive 1 star for each. I will give them 5 stars for style as they were what I was looking for and expecting. When available, I'll order a half-size larger and if they fit well, will update this review if possible.

I purchased a similar Sperry boot for New York winters (product #STS14140) which I think is the same as this one. Boots are supposed to be waterproof but both times I've worn them they have leaked significantly leaving my socks wet. I do not recommend this product.

I purchased these for my husband at Christmas and the thread is not even connecting the center of the boot, it never did...The boot was sent in this condition, no quality Control before it was sent for purchasing. The boot has a large hole from the thread not connected. I'm completely disappointed with Sperry Manufacturing and Quality Control.

these boots were not the best looking or best quality duck boots i could find but they were relatively cheap. when i first got them the quality of them felt cheap but when I was walking in the woods and a small twig punctured them all the way through stabbing me in the foot I was reassured that these boots were not the way to go. I would not recomend these boots.

I was very excited to get these boots as I personally like the look of these boots better then other duck boots. However, in every other regard these boots are not good at all. As another reviewer stated, they are not even close to being waterproof. I've had them for 1 month and in that time any amount of rain or snow my feet get absolutely soaked. The leather is also not good quality. It feels soft to the touch but has been severally damaged from daily use due to the top most metal eyelets. If you want a quality duck boot that is waterproof keep looking.
