I borrowed a pair of these to used in pretty cold and snowy environments and loved them. Snow was anywhere from ankle to thigh deep and my feet/ankles never felt a thing. When I gave the first pair back I bought my own pair.

Used it at work as a law enforcement officer during heavy snow fall. No snow got into my boots and my feet and lower legs stayed completely dry.

Simply put, these gators work great. I have been using them for a few months now on a few times a weekly basis. Definitely they keep the snow and other crud out while being not too hot on the lower leg.

I will use these gaiters for AT Skiing, although have not tried them out yet. They will work perfectly to keep deeper snow out of boots!

Already in use in the PNW. Easy and effective. I pair the gaiters with size 10.5 boots and sizing is spot on. Nasty shoulder season conditions and my legs stay free from debris, slush, and might be one of the driest places left.

I've owned Multiple pairs of these over the years and I wouldn't ever buy another brand. The quality is better than any other company can provide.

Super easy to put on. Haven't had a chance to use them in wet snow but so far they've done their job. I wear a low cut running shoe when I use them.

Well-made and very durable, yet quite comfortable also. Even in deep snowy conditions they keep out the snow and keep my feet dry

I've used these on many snowshoeing trips as well as climbs where you start out low and hit snow at higher elevations. The weight and "waterproofing" is great. Once they get broken in you can hardly tell your wearing them anymore.

I've had a pair for many years, used mainly for winter hiking / snowshoeing, but also for ice climbing and light mountaineering and even portions of the PCT. These are the gaiters I recommend most often to friends who are beginner winter hikers, and to customers at a well-known outdoor retailer that I work at. They are reliably waterproof, durable, lightweight (for winter gaiters), and reasonably priced. Breathability could be better, but it's decent. The only thing these gaiters can't handle is crampon use- if you frequently wear crampons, you will cut holes in these sooner or later, and you're better off with the more heavy duty crocodile gaiters (or expedition crocs if you wear mountaineering boots, those have a larger fit and more crampon protection on the inner leg). Despite some crampon damage, I've used these through multiple repairs, and OR has been true to their warranty in replacing them free of charge, even though the damage was my fault and they were not obligated to do so as far as I'm concerned. Bottom line, if you are not a frequent crampon user these are perfect, they will save you weight and cost over the crocs.

I purchase this product to use for work in slush and snow. I ordered slightly smaller as others recommended. They fit my winter hikers perfectly. I used them on a late season hunt that at times lead through deep snow. I had dry boots, and pants at the end of the day. I was really impressed.

I use these gaiters while turkey hunting. They did protect my clothing from the briers and kept my pants and boots from soaking up so much moisture from the dewy grass and weeds.

Great quality gaiters but they do run large even with mountaineering boots. I have a size 10 mountaineering boot (Sportiva nepal Evo) and these still had to be fully cinched before properly working. I also have smaller calves so there was a lot of empty space between my pants and gaiters

I bought these to replace a cheaper OR version, which I bought about 20 years ago. My previous set still has some life in them, but these have much nicer features and are more substantial. The old pair will be loaners now. Buy the looks of these, they should last me forever!

The industry standard for gaiters. Well made, well designed and work fantastically. Make sure to double check your size. I usually wear a size 10 boot and the large was way too big, had to return it for a medium.
