I have two pair of these shoes and I normally wear a size 10. When I tried on the size 10, I found my feet were touching the end of the toe box. The size 11 fit much better. I never wear an 11, but this seems to run a full size short for me. There is no size 10.5, but even if there was I believe I would still have needed to size up a full size. This is a beautiful shoe in the Tobacco and Brown Rub Off, however I thought it looked matronly in the black.

I bought the black pair, wore them for the first time yesterday. I love them and my flat feet with bunions had no problems whatsoever! Fantastic shoe! They definitely run small! I wear an 8 but bought a 9 due to reviews & glad I did. They fit perfect! They make my feet look small even though they are a size larger, so don't worry. Love these! I'm 45 & dress stylish/business & although I prefer a more squared looking toe box, these are very cute & will be wearing them as my go-to shoe for daily wear with slacks. FYI- Taos sandals run larger than their dress shoes.

Great and very comfortable shoes! I purchased a half size larger because of other reviews. They fit perfectly! Highly recommend these casual shoes!

Love the look. Wonderful shoe! I have practically no arch and they are so comfortable. I don't even need to use my orthotic. They do run a bit small so go one half size larger.

So cute, and so comfy! These are the cutest shoes I own at this point. With so many foot problems, most of my shoes are very functional and pretty darned ugly. These look great whether I'm in jeans or a cute little fifties dress.

Beautiful styling and is comfortable but, it runs a full size short. The toe is wide enough but, the mid-foot and heel are not as narrow as the Jive 2, which I preferred. Love the insole on both styles.

These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. For my job I am on my feet running around all day and my feet used to hurt terribly at the end of a 15 hour work day. However, these Taos shoes are so comfortable and supportive, it feels like were comfy slippers all day. The heel is solid and sturdy, just the right height to add a touch of femininity without being to high for work. The no slip sole is great in all types of weather and the leather upper is buttery and smooth. Trust me they are worth the price. Absolutely amazing.

First and foremost, I love these shoes. They feel great right out of the box, and the style is perfect for my work environment. The only problem I have is not being able to use my doctor prescribed orthotics. The heel cup is not deep enough to accommodate them. I found that a thin drugstore insole combined with the existing insole works perfectly and provides all the comfort I need.

I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5. After reading the reviews I ordered a size 9. With some shoes I need a wide but these have plenty of room in the toes and fit well in the heel. They look great with jeans. I give these a moderate + for support. Great right out of the box, no breaking in period.

Love it. I got taos Samba a while back in red- it was a splurge but it was just the most gorgeous shoe I couldn't help it, and glad I did. This shoe has the same lower-half construction, so I knew what to expect in terms of fit and feel. It's not super soft or padded, but excellent quality and very comfortable. I love that it has the look of a heel, but really doesn't feel like a heel and only adds a bit more an an inch of height. Being a tall woman (6 ft), this is important to me. I bought a similar pair to this a while back, wanting this same feminine black oxford look for slightly dressy occasions, versatile to wear with almost anything-- and that pair, although also adorable, just had too much of a heel to be practical and I don't wear them often. These I can walk in comfortably, my feet don't hurt at the end of the day, and I don't feel like I'm towering over people. Much more practical and still super cute and dressy. Hooray! Worth the investment.

This is a nice pair of shoes for an older lady (81). The left shoe fit pretty good but my right foot is smaller and I couldn't wear it even with 2 fillers in the back. I had hoped with the tie I could wear this pair.

I actually purchased a pair of these in Tobacco a couple years ago, and I have worn the heck out of them! They are by far the most comfortable cute shoes I've ever purchased, great for work, walking, even biking. I bought this pair for my wedding, because I knew I wanted to be able to dance all night. I love the soft leather, and the padded heels are icing on the cake. The outsoles give perfect traction, so I never slip. The inner soles are great, but also easy to slip out if you have an insert. I have bad bunions, but these shoes never bother them. All around my absolute favorite pair of shoes! If you like them, give other Taos a try too. They do run a half size small, I get an 8 when I usually wear a 7.5.

I love these shoes. I am a young, fresh, out of college business office worker and needed to upgrade my style a little. I also do a lot of walking so I didn't want uncomfortable heels. This was the perfect compromise. I'm usually a size 9.5 but I got a 10 because of the reviews and they fit perfect.

These shoes are gorgeous! However, I really wish I'd read the reviews and ordered up a half size. I'm typically a 7.5/8 and thought I'd be safe with the 8. Nope. Had to return for an 8.5.

Wore these shoes for the first time for three hours straight of dancing, hard fast wild dancing. I never thought about my feet once. The next morning I was amazed at how good my feet felt. These shoes rock. And by the way I am hard to fit and generally have achy feet after dancing.

I ordered a half size up as suggested and the shoes fitted perfectly and were very comfortable. I had a problem after about 3 weeks, though. The stitches on the left shoe opened up in two places. I went to the Taos website to tell them about the problem and they sent me a replacement pair right away after I sent them the defective pair. Hopefully this second pair will last. Otherwise, I am very happy with these shoes, they don't squeeze my toes and my feet feel very supported. I wear them with dress slacks to work.

Just received these and based on the reviews I ordered half-size up... WRONG! My usual size 9 would have been perfect. This brand is new to me. Shoe seem well constructed, and great for walking and being on your feet all day. Will exchange for correct size and decide then. Regarding the style, I'm in a quandary- they are more funky than tailored, however the comfort they provide may be worth the compromise.

I really want to be able to keep these shoes, but I have a narrow foot and they are cut wide. As a result, the heal kept slipping even though they are lace-ups and I put on a heavy sock. Back they go.

I think the shoe is cute and comfortable but the heel fell apart in 6 months. The cheep siding on the heel scraped off easily and then the bottom fell off the shoe.
