Very well constructed with quality materials. My foot fit in the size I normally wear; however, my outside toe next to my little toe hung over the foot bed due to the way the foot bed was cut. Going up a size would be too big. Additionally after wearing it around in the house, I found that my foot wanted to slide forward in the sandal and then my toes felt the uncomfortable pressure of the front straps trying to hold my foot back. I returned the shoe.

Adorable sandal but the top straps way too loose. I can get my thumb between the strap and my foot. It's a shame. Great sandal.

I loved the design of this shoe, and have several pair of Naot shoes, but my normal size was too small. When I walked, my foot slid down and my toes fell over the edge! Too expensive not to be perfect.

My experience was similar to the first reviewer. The shoe looks beautiful in the photo, but the actual color is duller brown, and the leather is stiffer than it looks in the photo. Also, the zippered heel portion sits 1/2" away from my heel, while outer toes slide forward and nearly hang over on the outside of the footbed. A smaller size would have really been too short. Footbed contour allowing outer toes close to or hanging over the outer edge seems to be a common problem with many shoes these days according to many reviews of shoes in general. Also, the two toe straps are way too loose. I was disappointed because the photo looked like exactly what I wanted, and I bought these shoes for two upcoming special events. Gotta find something else! These are being returned regrettably.

EXCELLENT SHOE! I ordered both black and chestnut last season last and returned the black. MISTAKE. Wore the Chestnut yesterday and loved it. Will likely get a 2nd pair. Works with casual and dress.

Loved these shoes. I bought them right before a trip to Toronto and could not be more pleased with how comfortable they were. The adjustable ankle straps helped me get just the fit I needed. And they're cute!

Comfortable, fashionable! Walked all over in NYC last week in a heat wave. With a sundress these were the perfect shoes.

This was a last minute purchase before a trip. I wore these three nights out of four with lots of walking! They are wonderful right out of box. If you are looking for comfortable shoes with a cute edge, these are them!

I really, really wanted these shoes to work for me! They're closed at the back so I thought they might be the perfect "dress sandal" for me to wear with my orthotic. Unfortunately, the angle of the shoe makes my foot slip down so there's a 1/2" gap between my heel and the back of the shoe, and the ankle strap hits uncomfortably just under my ankle. What a bummer, because they are so cute! Guess I'll have to keep looking, so thank goodness for Zappos!

Love the look and they were exactly what I was looking for...closed back, strappy front, not too high heel and amazingly comfortable. Unfortunately, they run a little narrow for me and my mid foot was coming off the footbed. I always wear a M width and have never had a problem. At this price I expect a perfect fit so they were returned. I will be checking out other Naot styles and hopefully find a pair that works.

This is a nice looking shoe, but it didn't fit my foot well. Paying this much for a sandal, it has to be really great. I returned it.

Loved the style of this shoe but the ankle strap rubbed on the ankle bone. Shoe ran a little large.

I love Naot shoes. I have 5 pair. They are so comfortable and last a long time, with no break-in period. I really wanted these shoes, but they run too wide. I have narrow feet and certain Naots are made for narrower feet (as this is one of them), but the straps are too wide. Sadly, these had to go back. I highly recommend them if your foot is not narrow.

I love how this shoe looks and at first it was very comfortable. But I have sweatty feet and after a while my feet slid down which changes how the shoe fits.

Going back. I agree w/KG & anonymous... Nice looking but gap in heel cup and front foot bed needs to be reshaped wider; cpl toes slightly hung over yet too big in heel.

I can't wear this because the ankle strap rubs underside of ankle bone. I like the rest of the line with identical, flexible sole in mules style with no ankle strap.
