I am a shoe hound. Its become almost a hobby. After getting tired of foot pain and doing research i really got into my shoe addiction. It is rare these days I don't meet a shoe sales guy who I don't have more knowledge and usually they are wearing the wrong shoes for their type of feet which is really what it comes down to AND how you run. If you don't know those two things you are just throwing 100.00 darts hoping to hit a bullseye. Most people buy their running shoes off the marketing(my vaunted Nike air max I destroyed in 3 weeks uugh)Never again will I pay for commercials and endorsements in exchange for shoddy, cheap but pretty on the outside shoes. First I was on New Balance(quality iffy), then to Asics(good), then to Saucony(better) and now I have found this! I run everyday, all day and get paid to do it. I deliver your christmas presents in a brown truck and this shoe for me(over pronator and 6'1 200) is the perfect combination of support and guidance. Your feet affect everything else on your body- your legs, hips, back, shoulders even your neck. The brooks website even has a really cool interactive test to tell you those 2 things- it doesnt cost anything and you don't have to buy anything to take it. I still get all my stuff from Zappos. This shoe has a good support feel but if you are used to mushy like my asics were at first it will feel stiff but then after like 2 days put your asics back on and its like running in sand!And my shin splints came back! I have 3 different styles of Brooks now- this is work(needed all black yes) and I have a Ghost 6 that is a better version of my Asics to wear around daily and to run on weekends the glycerine is out of this world. That glycerine is a big chunk of cash but run in it and they could probably charge me what I paid for those crappy Nikes and I would still be happy. I ordered my first pair of Brooks shoes here and have not been disappointed. They arrived promptly and fit better than I hoped. The sneakers themselves have helped me reduce my pronation and given me more support than I have gotten from any other running shoe.

I ordered 9 pairs of running shoes to try them on at home and see which fit best (Thanks for the amazing shipping/return policy Zappos! :) and these were the winners. They fit like a glove and I feel as if I'm running on air. The shoes that they are replacing, oddly enough, are the previous versions of the Adrenaline! I thought it was funny that out of 9 pairs that I tried out, the ones that I ended up picking were the same exact model as what I have worn for the previous two seasons. I'm a moderate over-pronator who prefers medium to high stability in a relatively light weight shoe. My profile: 5'11", medium build, run around 12 miles a week (unless training for next 1/2 marathon, put in 20-15/week). This shoe accommodates my narrow feet well also. This is a great shoe and Zappos provides the perfect shopping experience for someone who prefers to try out shoes in the comfort of his own home. Thanks!

This is my 5th pair of Brooks Adrenaline. I love the shoe because my foot is slightly wide and the EE is a perfect fit, when I first started wearing them I realized that my back felt better after long runs. I run about 20 miles a week and several half marathons a year in these shoes. I even run trails in these shoes and they work fine as long as its not wet and you don't mind the dirt. However, I do agree with some of the other reviews that they have changed the design on this current generation of GTS 13. I can't identify it yet, but the fit is not quite as contoured to the foot as it was in the previous generations.Also, they don't seem as tall. The change is slight and not so much negative as it is different. It is less noticeable after you break the shoes in with a long run or two. I still highly recommend these shoes, but kind of hope that Brooks goes back to the "Old Coke", even though the "New Coke" is still pretty good.

I first purchased these shoes after my husband had back surgery. They are the only shoes he likes to wear because his back doesn't hurt no matter how long he stands.

Terrific shoes at a great price! And, to top it off, Zappos service was simply amazing. I can't deliver enough positive comments! Kudos!

My last three pairs of running shoes have been Adrenaline GTS 13, but I need a wide width and in women's sizes, wide widths are only available in an ugly white with blue accents. So for pure vanity reasons, I switched to the men's Adrenalines with more wide-width color options. The men's 8.5D are the same as my women's 10D. As far as I can tell, there's no structural or shape difference between men's and women's models. The fit feels exactly as it has on the women's pairs. I wish Brooks would come out with Ravennas in a wide width, because I'd love to get into a pair of shoes that are a little lighter and had more flex than the Adrenalines, but that still offer some stability.

These are excellent quality shoes! They do not need breaking in and are super comfortable as well as long lasting. This is the second pair of Brooks shoes that we have purchased and will continue to buy so long as the quality and affordability remain the same.

I really liked these but at 3 months they've begun falling apart. For shoes over this cost I expect a longer life. The uppers must be made from cheap materials.

These are extremely comfortable running shoes and Zappos has one of the best customer services that I have ever dealt with.

I am pretty dedicated to the Brooks Adrenaline series by now - this is probably my fourth pair and I love them. I have got high arches, run a few days a week and train for some longer races (up to marathon distance) and these are great shoes. I never have a problem with them breaking down early even though I wear orthotics with them as well. Brooks is going to make a good product and when you find something that works well with your feet, you just stick with it. You cannot go wrong with these if you need good arch support and the different widths come in handy as well.

I have heel issues and my Podiatrist recommended these. I also own Nike and Asics but these are by far more comfortable. I really love them and am relieved to have found comfort again.

I like the look of these shoes and they are very comfortable. The one huge gripe I have is with the sole - in the back the layer pieces of rubber come un-glued. This doesn't seem like a big deal, but when I am driving and my heel is against the carpeted floor mat it sucks when I need to go from the gas to the brake because the stupid flap gets hung up. I work with a guy who has these same shoes and the same problem. Brooks, start making your shoes in a country with quality control and I will start buying them again (even if I have to pay a little more for the quality!).

Had Adrenaline GTS 12 and it had a roomy toe box. Very few shoes have this. I tried Brooks Beast and a few others including Asics. I could find no other model as comfortable as the Adrenaline models. I was fortunate the Adrenaline 13 also has a roomy toe box. I hope they keep this feature in the Adrenaline line of shoes.

Excellent shoe! This shoe was recommended by my orthopedist because of an injury (fractured both my tibia and right calcaneus) and he said I needed to wear running shoes at all times. I was so happy when I found these came in all black as sporting bright neon pink and green running shoes in the office wouldn't go over too well. I wear these 7 days a week and even in the house for their cushioning and support. I am about to buy my second pair. They lasted me about 5 months before wearing out, but again that is with me wearing them 24/7 so I think that is pretty good.

This is my athletic shoe, and has been for several years (and several pair). It is the only athletic shoe that has provided me consistent comfort. I prefer the Adrenaline, although I haven't tried other Brooks styles. Found what I wanted long ago. No need to change.

It fits well and has a lot of support for a big guy (6'4", 200 lbs) like me. The outside is shiny with lots of details, ugly from my perspective, but that's a personal thing. It's nice shoe. I wanted New Balance, but not at double the price.

Outstanding personable customer service. I needed to exchange my Brooks for a 1/2 size larger. After a warm conversation with a professional CS rep, my exchange was processed, upgraded to VIP, and shipped to me the next day. I took mine to postal depot, return shipping prepaid, to complete the quick transaction. Very satisfied!

This is my third pair of Adreanlines. I really like them- they have decent arch support, and the wide size is a good fit for my feet. I never really noticed a difference between the GTS10, 11, and this one. But I highly recommend these. You can't go wrong with them. Just wish they had some more colorful shoes, or at least something less plain.

I love these shoes they are the only ones that I am really comfortable in. I go through about 5-6 pair a year.

I am actually a female with large feet to begin with, and foot trouble besides. (Bunion + low arches) Have tried every shoe known, and the Adrenaline GTS is the ONLY shoe I can wear without pain. I wear this shoe for both work and for exercise walking. My regular shoe store has been out of stock in the GTS 13 for months (guess they're waiting for the GTS 14 to come out.) Was thrilled to find the red color, so tired of wearing blue! Free and very fast shipping from Zappos was delightful. Thank you!

I'm no marathon runner, but I do put up several miles per week. It was time for new shoes so I decided to try Brooks for all that I have been hearing of them. I used the Shoe Selector on their website and came to Zappos to order them. It's a fine shoe that fit like a glove. My problem with them is they are hard. There is pretty much no padding in them. It felt like running in dress shoes. Not for me.

I'm 52 and have been running for since junior high. However, I have flat feet,and over-pronate. Because of this, I've rolled my ankle a few times in the past. I've tried lighter shoes with less support, but have found the GTS series is the best for remaining injury free, for me. These are the best running shoes I've owned. Very well made too, like all Brooks products.
