This is a beautiful dress boot. However, I found the leather to be too stiff and uncomfortable and will be returning them for that reason. I wear a 6B and found them to be true to size.

These boots are narrow in the toe area and I found that they squeezed my toes and I have a narrow foot! Also, the leather is so stiff that they dug into my shins every time I walked up & down stairs. If they weren't so uncomfortable I would have kept them as I really liked the rich brown color, the heel height, and the gold buckle accent.

Love the style but the quality of the leather does not match up to the retail price of the shoe/even at the sale price. Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. The boot itself is comfortable for walking except the top of the boot cut into both shins. Was disappointed and will return them.

The boots look beautiful. However, they are extremely uncomfortable. When I walk in them, I feel like my feet are in rocks. There is no flexibility whatsoever. If you are not wearing socks to reach all the way to the edge, then the edge of the boots will scratch your legs. I wish I tried them on before going out, I would have gladly returned them.

I bought these ankle boots in both the rust and black. They are so stylish and extremely comfortable. I wear them with skirts and rolled ankle skinny jeans and get lots of compliments when I wear them. I love to wear boots and these are a nice break from the taller boot.

Beautiful and comfortable boots!

I got the boots 1/2 size bigger than my actual size since my actual shoe size was not available.A thick sock makes them fit. They are comfortable. I thought I was going to have a little trouble wearing heels again since it been a while, especially sitting more at home due to pandemic. They were surprisingly comfortable since my other heels have become unbearable. THe boots are beautiful and classy.

This boot is extraordinarily comfortable. Great for walking in the city, shopping, and the style works in the office with pants and jeans. Nice alternative to the riding boot if you need a heel and the color is amazing when you're in the mood to embrace the brown tones. LOVE!

I ordered these boots in the dark brown and absolutely love them! They look great and the while the leather is a little stiff, it keeps them from looking "worn" too quickly. The boots did feel tight around my toe section when I first put them on, but after wearing them for a couple days, they stretched out perfectly and are very comfortable. I usually just make sure to wear a thinner sock and have no problems. One note though, the dark brown is actually a medium brown color. It's a beautiful shade of brown, just not very dark. I purchased a similar boot in black prior to ordering these in the brown, but am going to order these in the black as well because I love them so much.

These boots were much more modern and cuter in person than I expected. Leather was pretty stiff but I think they will hold shape well. Looks awesome under pants and with dresses too. Definitely dresses up an outfit and a good alternative to black heels.

I had been looking for a pair of black booties to replace a pair that I had had for about 6 or 7 years. These fit the bill in that the heel is a little wider than most and not too high. My days of skinny stilettos are long gone, so these were a good choice. The shaft hits in the lower part of my shin, which took some getting used to, especially when going up or down steps. All in all, this was a good purchase, and as usual, Zappos delivered them next day, which is a great thing.

I love these boots! Bought a similar pair years ago and they have served me well and have retired. I knew these would be perfect, bought in brown and black. I am most interested in great shoes that will last and be comfortable. These are both...love!

I love these boots. I ordered them in the dark brown and they look just as pictured. I haven't had any major issues with comfort--they're a little narrow in the toe, which I can feel if I've been wearing them all day, but nothing that prevents me from wearing them around. As other reviews said the leather is stiff and I could see how the top might be uncomfortable if you have a wider calf. However if you have a smaller calf this should not be an issue--I have average to somewhat thin calves and have not felt any discomfort from the top of the boot.

These boots are beautiful. I love the brown color and the gold accessories. They are 3" tall with little platform and they are very easy to walk in. However, the leather is stiff which makes every walk uncomfortable because they scratch my shins. Other than that, these boots are keepers.

This boot has a very nice buckle hardware and the heel is comfortable for walking. Unfortunately, it has a few problems depending on your preferences. Because the boot leather is stiff, I found the zipper to be a challenge. The shaft is uncomfortably high (I am 5'4"), therefore, I will have to return these boots for this primary reason.

Whoever said these boots are like wearing bricks on your feet wasn't lying. I read the reviews before purchase, so I was forewarned. Since I love the saddle colored leather and the heel, I won't return them. But, Ow in the shins! And that is with socks! Definitely not for all day wear. Which is what I needed, to wear with jeans. Good thing I didn't pay full price. These things are clunky!

Beautiful bootie! So sorry the leather was too "stiff" everywhere for me. Width a bit tight in the toe,wider in the heel; but size was true. Maybe this is the way boot are; though I have not had this issue before.

These boots are beautiful and look wonderful. However, they are very tough on the foot due to the leather being hard and there is no cushioning in the foot bed. I ordered two pairs and kept the one half a size bigger so I can place a gel insole inside. I can only wear them for short periods of time and would not recommend walking any kind of distance in them. They are built and designed to look good without consideration for functionality.
