Out of the box, one of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. Im extremely dissappointed the soles wore out so soon in these. I'm on a construction site every day so its not like I'm easy on boots, but these soles wore out faster than any boot I've ever worn. Its the first set of boots that I've considered resoling so that I can put a more durable sole on it and hopefully retain the quality of the rest of the boot.

These are fantastic boots. I bought them and tried them out for a day and was not sure on the fit. It only took a day to break them in to my feet and I wear them daily. I came into work to put on my Dr. Marten Fusions and only lasted a shift in them and went back to my Carhartt boots. I now need to order a pair with a safety toe. These are as comfortable as my DC shoes and more comfortable than my Ariat boots. The only thing that could be better is if they had a square toe.

Great daily wear work boot. I go in and out of new homes and have to take on and off multiple times a day. These boots have lasted longer and are more comfortable than any other of this style.

I wanted to like this boot, but it didn't fit me. I normally wear a New Balance sneaker in size 11.5 4E. This boot was not wide enough for me in the toe box. I tried it in sizes 11.5 Wide, 12 Regular, and 12 Wide. In all three cases the toes were too tight. I blame the pointed design of the shoe. There was a definite difference in the width of the heel of the boot between the shoes, with the 11.5 being best for me, and my heel wobbling side-to-side in the 12 Wide. My feet may be to blame too, as my toes seem to spread out quite widely. If you have regular width feet, this boots will probably be great for you, but they didn't work for me. Sadly, I don't see any Australian-style work boots that are made extra-wide.

Comfortable, sturdy shoe that makes me even taller than I already am. We don't allow shoes in the house, and these slide on and off super easy.

Love the look and all. They seem a little bigger..longer but fit good...only complaint is getting use to the boots and pressing into the back of my legs

I have owned these boots for over a year, and I wear them daily. They are still as comfortable now as they were back when I purchased them. The one flaw I found is that the sole is slippery when wet. I have to be cautious in these so that I don't slip.

These boots are great for my husband for work. He is on his feet most of the day with his job. He likes the lower cut boot and the tab on the back to pull it on. Would buy them again. They are a little tight but he is wearing a thinner sock than normal until they break in.

These boots were very well made, especially the leather uppers. Would suggest that you order a half size smaller than you normally wear. Also, putting heel savers on before use would stop premature erosion. The soles are made of very soft rubber.

I can no longer tie shoes and I frequently hike and live in alaska. I love these boots just a little big but nothing thick socks won't fix

On here ordering my second pair. Very comfortable boot for daily wear. Easy on and off. Perfect for hard surfaces, mud, job site. I have a hard time finding boots that fit my high instep. These are true to size and good with heavy or normal socks. Leather pull tabs rip easily and soles wear out unusually fast. Would be great if Carhartt used a more durable sole material and switched to fabric pull tabs.

Carhart boots fit my feet well. They are very comfortable for me... Maybe not for you. I do remodel work in finished homes and really like the lack of buckles which can scratch a floor easily. They are very easy to slip on and off but i never once thought that laces would be better. The soles are non marking on floors but do wear out quicker than the leather (unusual) i am purchasing a new pair after only 11 months but they are worth every penny.

Unfortunately, I will have to return these boots. Even though I ordered an EE width, I could barely get my feet into them. They appear to be very well made and excellent leather quality. I it's just too bad the width is not what is advertised.

A great looking work boot. However it is one of the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE work boots I have ever worn. I had torn my last work book, so I was forced to wear these to a job site. I actually got them well scuffed up on that site visit... If I had not been forced to wear them that day, I'd be sending them right back! I am currently on Zappos looking for another pair of work boots, as these things are cripplers! :(

Terrible fit. Heel slips. Returned them for a smaller size and heel still slips. Of course, Zappos won't simply exchange. They charge your card a second time and issue a refund or worse, they offer a gift card. Don't buy these shoes.
