I love these boots... but unfortunately I ordered my normal size 7 1/2 and now I realize they're at least 1/2 size too big. Other than that I love them! I'll figure out a way to make them fit snugger.

These are fantastic shoes. Very comfortable and well made. They look cute with a dress and tights or under pants.

These boots are gorgeous and comfortable. I got the black and they are a bit greyed just like the picture shows. I had a bit of trouble with the sizing as many said they run small. They are actually sized large and I had to go a half size smaller. For example, I wear a 10. They say a 10 is a 42 European size and a 9.5 is a 41 inside the boots. That is not correct. A 41 is a 10 and a 42 a 10.5 or 11. As US sizing is arbitrary it always seems to work best to make the comparison. I can easily tell these will be my favorite shoes for many years when they're broken in and moulded to my foot.

Size up! I've been wearing Ariat for years, the Performer Zip (I'm on my 4th pair), a pair of mules and on my second or third pair of clog style slip ons. This pair runs smaller than marked, at least half a size if not a full size. The leather is stiff as the other reviewer indicated, but that seems to be a tradition with Ariat and I like it. They do look beautiful on, and if you are looking for foot / ankle support, this is a stylish entry in that area. One other thing of note, the insoles are not removable - unlike the majority of their other shoes. I can't understand why they did that. So you either need to tear it out to fit in your orthotic, or size up even further. I'm going to return my size 8s and see if a half size up will do it, or if I need to jump a full size. Looking forward to being able to wear them.

Just got these in the mail and have worn them around the house all day. They are super cute on, they look exactly as they do on the website (I got the "old West black" which is sort of greyed-out in some areas, I think to look more broken in), I love the Victorian look to the buttons on the front (which are just decorative - to put the boots on, you just use the zipper). I gave them 4 stars for comfort as the leather is rather stiff, which surprised me (for some reason, I thought the picture made them look like the buttery/soft type of leather). They may soften up over time, we'll see. I've worn them all day and my feet aren't sore, but when I took them off just now, I have to admit it felt good to have them off. They fit true to size, in my opinion anyway. I'm a 7 and ordered a 7W and they fit perfectly. I think they'll be cute with dresses and tights as well as with skinny jeans. Very happy with them! Very nice quality as well.

This is a beautiful boot but sadly for people like me it is much to narrow. It is very stiff and I found it painful after wearing it for any length of time.
