I am so disappointed in Stride Rite! I have buying their shoes for my kids for years and am so surprised in this shoe's quality. I ordered these shoes for my son from Zappos and within a few months the whole bottom of one of the shoes was coming off. We called Zappos and they sent us another pair (they were great). Then, we got the new pair and within the first month the velcro stopped sticking on both shoes. So, now I'm looking for new shoes for him -- again. I was hoping they would last him the school year. Being that we have to pay this much for our kids' shoes, you'd think they'd last a school year. I do not recommend buying this shoe - waste of money!

After about a month one of them constantly fell off because the velcro stopped sticking. I am now stuck looking for another shoe in the same size instead of being able to wait until he outgrows them. I definitely feel like this pair was a waste of money.

I bought this sneaker for my 3yr. old son maybe two months ago and they are already showing wear on the inner side. They honestly look like they are a year old. The tread is very thin. But the worst thing about this shoe is the tongue. It is too short. You cant hold it and slide your foot in. I have always been happy with Stride Rite in the past. But these really are no good. I have had better luck with Nike kids. No more Stride Rite for me.

Very disappointed. Fell apart after 1 month. All the other Stride Rite shoes we have bought have been great and excellent quality.

The shoe was great for like a month. Then it just started to fall apart. Not even 4 months and the Velcro doesn't work on the one shoe anymore (and my son is not hard on shoes). Disappointed.

We got these shoes about 3 months ago, and while the shoe itself is holding up great, the Velcro does not stick at all. We thought perhaps it was just dirty or filled with fuzz, but no. It just doesn't stick at all and the thread holding it together is unraveling. We would definitely not recommend these shoes. We've never had a problem with Stride Rite before, but these? Definitely not up to normal standards.

After about 4 weeks only, the velcro ripped off one of the straps. I tried gluing it back down with fabric glue...didn't hold, then I velcroed the velcro back down. This lasted a few days, but we had to be very careful pulling the strap up and down. I am really disappointed with Stride Rite...didn't expect it. Yesterday, the strap just completely ripped off. That's why I'm here...back to buying Asics for my 7 year old.

My son loved these shoes...but they literally fell apart in 3 months. The sole of the entire sole is coming unglued from the leather. Not what I would expect from Stride Rite!

I bought these shoes for my son for school. Less than two months later they have COMPLETELY fallen apart. The whole sole came off of one. I expect much more from Stridrite. I think Walmart brand would have lasted better... for the price. Very disappointing.

I bought this shoe less than 1 month ago for my five year old son. The edges of the shoe are already worn and have holes in them, and the sole is peeling off on one side -- this after less than 1 month of normal wear and tear. I expect much better quality from Stride Rite and I'm very disappointed in these shoes. I would not recommend that you purchase this shoe.
