Well, my legs aches just from walking around my house in these but they do fit. They run my ankle bones and hurt across the lower calf area. I really want a nice pair of heavy duty boots but I think I will have to return these. They are pretty stiff so don't seem like I will be able to break them in any time soon.

I love these boots, but I am a little partial to Vasque boots. First of all, I can actually get a women's boot to fit me. I wear a size 11 and this brand is the only one that consistently carries women's size 11. I have owned several Vasque boots, including the Sundowner. These (Snowblime) boots have ample room for my feet and I can wear heavy socks with them. I bought these boots because I walk 5 miles nearly everyday, even in the winter. I needed a new boot to walk in as my old (LL Bean) snow walkers had worn out. I wanted a boot with a bit more arch support as I have flat feet. These boots have wonderful arch support. I wondered a bit about the previous comments about stiffness, but I chose to order these boots anyway. I first wore them around the house for a few hours and even though the ankle area is a little stiff, I didn't have any problems. I decided to put two pair of socks on and wear them on my walk. I had no problems, so basically, no break in time! I have worn these boots everyday for a couple weeks now and they are still great! These boots also feel light compared to an old pair of insulated Vasque boots I still own. I do have to wear heavier socks for cushioning as I found when I wore one thin pair, my feet became a little sore. I highly recomend these boots. They are a great winter hiking boot for women.

They boots fit my size and width and have support. The problem is the ankle area. They are extremely stiff and hurt even if I am just sitting in a chair. I don't feel I have the strength to break them in. I really like how they look, though. I usually don't care that much but these are cute. Really. And I have big feet and they don't look like I am wearing Olive Oyl's boots.

Really liked the colorful blue accent colors of these shoes and laces, but upon trying on I could tell that the "work in" would take a loooong time as they are very stiff. The up side to that is durability, the downside is discomfort for however long it would take to get accustomed to the feeling of stuff as soft cement on my feet. I returned them immediately, but luckily I could tell they just aren't for me, I'd prefer the softer give of an Ugg boot - I'm going to go with the Ugg Adriondack II instead.

Incredibly stiff; hurt my ankles just moving around the house for 15 minutes. The search continues for a good snow boot that has a wider toe box.
