This backpack is wonderful. I've only had it for a week so far and it is the best. It holds all of my books and still has room! I highly recommend this backpack!

I was a bit concerned as I unpackaged the backpack, but it is quite deceiving. My daughter was able to pack all of her beginning-of-the-year school supplies into the bag with room to spare. Although the bag was packed almost to capacity, it did not appear too bulky. Sturdy construction that looks like it will hold up to the rigors of day-to-day use.

This backpack is large enough to hold everything you need, durable enough to pack it to the brim and trust that it won't burst, and has enough pockets to keep everything organized. My husband and I both own one, and we both love it. We take it on weekend trips and on vacations. I'd definitely buy another one if something happened to mine...although JanSport has a lifetime guarantee, so I probably wouldn't have to. :)

I purchased this backpack for my high schooler and we love it! It has enough room for all his textbooks, supplies, as well as food & drink. It is also very durable!

I just got the Jansport Big Student bag just a few hours ago. I'm so pleased to get this bag. Brilliant colors and enough space and I hope this will last a long time because this is my first Jansport bag. It's amazing!

The back pack is large enough to hold everything needed for any school day. Perfectly functional and with a great warranty! Granted its not the most stylish, but its super functional! Can't beat the price or the free shipping!

My teenage son needed a new backpack that was durable, stylish, and most importantly one that fit all of his books, binders and sports clothes/shoes. This one does fit all of his requirements! It's a bonus that it also fits his laptop. While it looks big when its full, it fits everything he needs, and he is more an thrilled that he doesn't need to take any extra bags with him on the already crowded bus. And I am happy that with jansports lifetime guarantee I won't need to worry about replacing it if it should malfunction.

This is a great backpack. Very sturdy and lots of room for books, lunch, p.e. clothes and anything else a student needs to carry. These were available locally, but with limited selection. The Zappos selection was much greater and my daughter was able to find the perfect pack for her. I loved that it didn't cost any more online than at the brick and mortar store, it arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. Combine that with the Jansport guarantee and you've got the perfect choice for a student backpack.

Great bag and big enough for all the high school books etc. My daughter colored in some of the images to customize it. Great Jansport construction. All around it's a great bag.

Trying to buy a backpack for a tween at middle school is an ongoing saga. Too small too heavy etc. This fits all the criteria at last! Its huge so even the lunch box fits. It is very comfortable and distributes the weight evenly so it feels light even packed with huge text books. Above all else its cool. Phew at last...

These are just perfect. And the best thing about Zappos is the selection and free shipping and returns. I absolutely love Zappos!

Hey there, first of all Zappos service is supreme! Best in the world! Unmatched! The JanSport Big Student backpack is great for the humble student... The padded straps make it feel secure on your body, as opposed to the dinky straps of the Superbreak or the Right Pack. Two negatives about this backpack are the fact that it does not have a sleeve on the back wall (used for laptops or binders) and the mesh water bottle holder is a tacky extra. However overall if you are looking for a sturdy, humble, good for everyday use, type of backpack buy it! (If you want to cut the mesh on the side do it neatly and carefully, it might work out!)

I always choose content over form, in music, cars, restaurants, and people. This bag holds more than you think, and I love that. It doesn't have the snazzy, high-tech look of the more expensive, same size bags; instead it just carries more of your stuff, and better organized, since it has two big pockets instead of one like most of the others. Not the bag you need if you want to impress the other shoppers by rappelling off the second floor of REI, but will carry most everything you need for a weekend in Hawaii.

Great backpack! Well made and holds a lot of books and all supplies. Price can't be beat...in fact it was only a little more than a very cheaply made backpack in one of the big box stores. I expect to get many years of service from this backpack. Zappos is the best!

I LOVE this bag! I'm a freshman so I have a lot of books to carry and this bag handles them all! The only downside I see is that the straps are a little funny shaped and hurt my shoulders if I don't adjust them correctly. But besides that the backpack rocks!

This backpack is great. The color is bright and refreshing, exactly as shown on the picture. It is very roomy, with compartments inside for pens and cell phone, extra light when empty, durable,and reasonably priced. There are many other colors to choose from of the same model to fit your taste and lifestyle.
