I'm 5'9", 175 lbs, athletic and fit. Great pair of jeans. Have worn this brand and style for over 45 years. Fit perfectly.

Levi's are true to size and super comfortable. They have really held up well and only get better with age. I can dress these up or down so they prove to be very versatile.

Classic Levis 505's! Husband's preferred " work Jeans " and everyday jeans. Levis last longer versus other denim jeans. Never had any issues w/zippers/shank button closure/rivets/seams etc. Retail store cost $59.99 and up, sale price $49.99. Reviews say Levis now made/produced overseas, some say quality of current jeans, not near to prior USA manufacturing. Have No Opinion.

What a great fit! And it's the typical 505 just like my other jeans! It's a 'regular' fit & fits great in the waist & hips and legs! Now I know where to shop whenever I need jeans: Zappos!

Fit and size were perfect and the material is the same rugged Levi material that I've been buying for over 50 years. Still comfortable and wear like iron!

These are my husbands favorite jeans! The quality of these jeans are excellent! Would definitely recommend.

Great jean for the money. The fit was what I expected. The denim may be different than older 505's but I actually like the softer material, it immediately felt like the older worn-in jeans I was replacing. Which used to be the reason I hated getting new jeans - 'cause you had to break them in. I will buy them again.

My husband owns and loves this classic Levi's style in several washes. However, the pure black wash runs smaller than some of the other softer washes he has ordered so I had to return them. He still loves this brand and this style, but will have to try other washes. He has black jeans from a very high end designer and those did fit. I find black washes can sometimes run smaller in women's jeans, too. I have had this issue previously with NYDJ (same exact thing, a black pair in the same style & size were tighter than in the soft blue and grey). So, if you want black in these, I'd advise going up one size, or trying another style.

the fit and size are ok but the denim is not as heavy-duty as they were when they were made in the USA. Other than that I like them and will buy more

The waist fits well but as usual I have had to have the legs shortened since my actual size is apparently in the middle of two measurements. I wear these levis nearly every day. I have purchased levis numerous times and have never been disappointed.

I love Zappos to find my husband's favorite Levi's as he wears a size not easy to find: 29x34! I can often find jeans for myself while speaking to a Representative. Returns are easy even if you've washed them several times, they'll tell you to give them to someone and they still give you a refund!!!

Great fit

The Levi's 505 now uses a slightly lighter weight denim than in years past, but is adequate, soft and comfortable. Sits at the waist, is slightly fitted through the hips and thighs (not relaxed) and looks perfectly at home with a good pair of Justin Ropers (google it).

Fits perfect. Received in two days. No issues. I love Zappos.

Outstanding fit. Looks like khakis from a distance. Will pass for business / casual meetings. Stretchy yet snug where you need it. Ordered on Saturday and received on Tuesday - BOOM. ZAPPOS ROCKS!!!

WENT TO LOCAL LEVI STORE. DID NOT FIND SIZE. ASKED CLERK IF HAD ANY MY SIZE. SHE SENT ME TO FRONT OF STORE TO HAVE THEM PULL STOCK ON COMPUTER. FRONT CLERK TOLD ME SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. I REPEATED. CLERK TOLD ME TO GO BACK TO 1ST CLERK BECAUSE SHE COULD DO IT EASIER THAN SHE COULD. TOLD CLER SORRY TO PUT YOU OUT. WALKED OUT AS FLOOR MANAGER CALLING ME BACK. NOW I KNOW WHY MANY BUY ON LINE. THANK YOU FOR THE COURTEOUS PEOPLE AT ZAPPOS. AND HAVING WHAT I WANT AND NEED.

If you are a ‘purist’ when it comes to jeans, these may not be for you. I am am not. I’m in my seventies, and for me it’s all about comfort! Yes, these jeans feel lighter in weight, in in my southern climate, that is my preference. I have gotten spoiled by all the stretch fabric in men’s pants; I love it. The waist fit is perfect. If anything, they may run a little short in the inseam. I usually wear a 30” length in regular denim Levi’s, but these days that is too long. Glad the 29” was out of stock because they most likely would have been a bit short in this particular Jean.

I purchased these for my son in college. They were to replace a pair in the exact same style that had ripped in the crotch. This seems to be a problem if you don't wear your jeans properly - stress is placed at a point where the jeans were not designed to handle. I had to do some detective work to figure out what color the originals were. In the end I found and ordered the exact same ones. He announced they were too big. After he washed them, they fit fine. Crisis averted. I chose to have them sent from Zappos because if they didn't fit him, the return would have been relatively easy. Thanks, Zappos!

These Levis are my husband’s favorite “Dad” jeans. They were everything he expected - style, fit, color - and he said they are perfect.

Nothing seems as well made as the old days, but Levis come closest. 501 or 505, I wear both. Black color works best for me in most situations, looks a bit more formal than traditional blue denim. Expect the dye to bleed noticeably in the first few washings; my first lesson decades ago to separate my whites. Fairly durable, but wear out in the seat after a year or two of regular wear, and faster with any bicycle riding. When I was a kid the knees always went first. Never shopped clothes online until I discovered Zappos, a necessity these days as size and style inventories have declined in brick and mortar stores. Very convenient.

I like the 505 jeans very comfortable and fit great.

I bought these for my husband. They look really good on him, but they are a little tight considering I bought him 2 other pairs the same style and size. The sizing seems to be a bit off. He kept them because they do look good on him. He is 5'10" 173 lbs for reference and we bought 32x30s
