Lisa is my new best shoe friend, especially for travel, although I have had a hard time keeping her off my feet for long at home too. At long last I have found a shoe that is cute, comfortable and well-padded for pounding pavement or standing for hours at a time. They look great with skirts or slacks and the soles won't lose their grip if it gets a little muddy underfoot. The chili color is a terrific tone - not too bright, but a great splash of color that coordinates with many others. Lightweight and compact, these shoes pack well if you do wear something else on your travels. My forefoot is wide, so I ordered an 8 instead of a 7.5 and am very pleased with the fit. I wore these nearly non-stop on a recent trip to France; they performed well walking in gardens, towns, chateau and caves and only had to be wiped off with a damp cloth to make them respectable for dinner. My feet were happy and and stylish enough to garner compliments from strangers. If these go on sale, I may have to stock up for the future.

super comfortable and cute, can wear them all day long and they are still so easy to stand and walk in. And I know what I'm talking about, I bought these because I'm six months pregnant and needed shoes that were slightly bigger (normally a 10, but a big 10) and flat. I'm very please, would buy again.

These are fabulously comfortable and cute shoes. I got them to wear for an evening out because all the beautiful heels they make now will not work for me. I wore them all day, and ran around airports and streets; then went to 50th high school graduation party. These are winners, for sure. I am glad that I got two pairs - one red, and the other in black. I wear a 9 in US, and the 39 fits perfectly. It feels like you are walking on a little memory foam mattress.

These are my go to brown shoes for work and they have a little something ballerina like going on with the straps. They are super comfortable, almost like there is a thin temperpedic insole. I also have the Valerie and I absolutely adore them. You wont regret spending the money.

I've been wearing the Haflinger Sheep slipper for years. I had no idea they made leather shoes. These are so soft, and the footbed really does feel like a cross between a shaped cork footbed and a Tempurpedic matress. Heaven. I'm normally an 8 1/2 or 9 in American size shoes and a 39 or 40 in Euro sizes. I'm always a 40 in Haflinger. I love the ballerina cross strap on these. I got them in red.

These flats are very comfortable, lots of cushion and good support to! I highly recommend! A little wide but not too bad.

These are very stylish and comfortable. They are sturdy and provide support, but still appear delicate and light like a ballet flat should.

This is a high quality shoe, soft leather through and through. The straps are cute and actually feel very comfy and secure. The sole is thick enough and the arch support is pretty good for a flat shoe. Try it.

These are super comfortable. I was looking for a pair of ballet flats for an upcoming vacation, with walking all day but occasions when you would prefer not to be in sneakers. I would normally never pay this much for shoes, but with these the quality really did justify the price. The soles are super soft and comfy, the back has elastic that holds the shoe on your foot, but without digging into your ankle in the back. It seems like most ballet flats are either too loose and are constantly coming off your foot, or the elastic in back is too tight and painful. The fit on these, on the other hand, is pretty much perfect. I've worn them to work a few times and they are just as comfortable 10 hours after I put them on. The design is classic and versatile - you could wear them with a dress at dinner, or you can dress them down with jeans. I'm a size 11 and I did feel that they fit true to size...it's also nice to actually be able to find an 11! Haflinger is definitely my new favorite brand.

This is my perfect shoe. I have a narrow heel so straps help keep shoes on my feet; and I prefer flats. So I was glad to give these a try. Beyond those practicalities, this shoe looks great, fits well, and the leather is buttery-soft. I'm on the lookout now for more shoes from this company.

Very comfortable ballet flat with plenty of room for my rather wide foot. The little crossover strap makes it look super cute as well as stopping any slipping. I love it!

These shoes are lovely, stylish and comfortable. I needed a couple pairs to get me through my daily 2 mile walking commute across NYC, and I love that these are elegant yet sturdy. They do take a little breaking in, as I have a blister on the back of my right foot, but that is par for the course with me.

Pros: Real leather upper. Real leather inside. Real rubber outsole. Wide toe-box. Very comfortable. Because of straps your toes will not have to grasp the shoe. I applaud Haflinger for still using quality materials. Cons: The straps dug into my feet. Ugly.

Due to recent back injuries, I can only wear flat, comfortable shoes. I also have a slender ankle and heal which makes finding flats with a strap VERY challenging. I was very excited when these shoes came in. They were very comfortable, but look like they just came out of a ballet recital. I guess they would be fine with pants, but with anything else they are very awkward looking. They seem really out of place wearing them. I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me, so I asked my roommates and some other friends what they thought. They all agreed that they were "off." So, if you don't care about looks that much these shows are a good bet, but if you do I wouldn't get them.

I was so disappointed in this shoe! The fit was huge - I generally wear a 6.5, and ordered a size 37. They were positively massive. I had about an inch of space behind my foot, and not even the straps could hold the shoe on. As for the shoe itself, it was cute, but nothing to rave about. The straps were a substantially different color than the rest of the shoe, and were made of a much cheaper looking material. No question - these went back immediately.

I loved these shoes from the first time that I saw them. Plus they were my namesake, so I really liked them. The shoes were very comfortable, but they started to wear out quite quickly. I was shocked. This is the most expensive pair of shoes that I ever bought. I only spent the money because of Zappos return policy. It was too much money to lose on a pair of shoes that didn't last me for at least a few years. So I got them and they fit perfectly and were super comfortable. But within a month of wearing them, where the straps cross over each other the color started coming off, so there were white smudges. It happened in several places on the straps. I didn't want to return them, so I tried drawing red ink on the spots, but it wouldn't stay and the color kept rubbing off. And on the front of one of the shoes, it got this huge scuff on it that ripped off a decent amount of leather. This is really bad quality to happen at all, never mind in just a few months. I've gotten shoes at Payless that held up better and I paid way less money for them. I'm so disappointed and returned them today. Before they got so messed up, they were the prettiest shoes that I ever had. : ( I'm a bit wary of the Haflinger brand now. Maybe I just got a defective pair? Not sure, but I definitely will buy another pair from Zappos though. Great return policy! :)
