These are pretty darn good mittens. Most gloves will keep my palm/back of hand warm, but my skinny, short-ish fingers get cold very easily especially when it's below 25 deg F, so I have to switch to mittens. Bought these mittens in a size medium based on Burton sizing chart, but probably should have gone w/ the small size. However the upside to the mediums is I can easily get a knit liner glove and even pretty easily squeeze in an OR PL 400 liner glove inside, not so sure I would have been able to get in the PL400 liner w/ the small. So w/o the liner they're good down to around 15 deg F for me, but may need the knit liner in the single digits and the OR PL400 has done me right down to -15 deg F (actual temp, not just wind chill). Leather is supple, doesn't soak up too much water nor sweat. The only thing I would ding it on is my particular pair the leather is slightly slick. I have the Gondy Glove and for some reason that pair has a bit of tacky-ness to it to grab onto things a little better. The hashed color is meh, like last year's penny color that had reddish tint to it better.
