These shoes rub in a couple areas under the stitching. Also the top looks a bit stretched out. Too bad because they are adorable and comfortable other than the pain from the stiching on heel and top of foot.

To be honest, I took one look at this shoe and put it back in the box. It's just not my style, too Earth Mother for me. I have purchased many Josef Seibel shoes, but steer clear of styles similar to this one. I went against my gut and ordered it anyway, based on reviews. Maybe it looks cuter in a size 36 than the size 39 I ordered. It looked like the same high quality craftsmanship Josef Seibel is known for, it was just not for me.

I'm always searching for the perfect comfy yet cute shoe. This seemed to be the one judging from the video, but upon trying this pair of J.Seibel's on, was soon disillusioned. They are stiff and almost cardboard-like with little padding: not comfortable at all. Sadly, not for me.

Classy looking shoes but I wish I had returned them immediately. I thought they would work but I ended up with the terrible foot problems and I had paid full price. Now have to be given away. For one, this shoe does not have the AirPed insert and very little arch support. I just couldn't walk in them at all after a while. I was hoping to find a replacement for the wonderful discontinued Seibel Maddie style, I could walk around the world in those. The best shoe is good looking and is one where you are not even aware you are wearing shoes. I found a Seibel style that works better but the style is not yet available in the US. I immediately got great compliments on the Seibel Helena mary jane style and that has an AirPed insert. I wish more styles were available and I wish the Maddie could be brought back. It lasted forever.
