I love Keen and own five pair. These sandals looked fine but the stitching on the outside of the shoe near my little toe came unraveled. After returning for another pair (as always Zappos was very helpful in exchanging them) they also came unraveled in the same area. I have one pair of Keens I've worn for 8 years, never had this problem before.

These fit great. I have worn the Arroyo II for years, but they recently changed the size, and they no longer fit me right. The Glisan fit perfectly, are a little nicer and dressier, if that is possible for sandals.

This sandal is slightly different than the Newport sandal. The foot sole insert is much like a shoe. It is extremely comfortable and flexible. The only reason for a 4 rating is you would not want this sandal at the beach/sand area or slip into it with wet feet. It is also a bit more difficult to slip into, it takes a hand to pull on. The heel loop needs to be large enough to put a finger through it and easily slip them onto your feet. The elastic for snugging up to your feet is way too long. A couple of minor adjustments and this is the perfect sandal for comfort and support in urban situations. I will own another pair. They are worth the extra money.

These are great sandals. My first pair of Keens lasted forever. This pair is a little narrow in the toe area for an improved fit.

Wore 'em canoeing, they say waterproof. Takes a long time to dry out. The liner got totally ruined and the dark brown leather turned an ugly medium brown. Returned 'em to Zappos, got a refund.

When I bought these shoes I followed the advice and got them one size larger and I'm glad I did. They fit very well and are comfortable for active wear. If there is one complaint is they are a little difficult to get on as they do not have the traditional laces but elastic and with a larger, wide foot I have a bit of a problem getting them on.

Excellent sandals! A little meatier than the others. Great for work or trekking Costa Rica! Beats works shoes, my feet don't sweat as much. I haven't tried them barefoot yet...recommend for sure!

This is a great shoe, as has been every pair of Keen shoes I've owned. Heavy duty cross between a sandal and a hiking shoes, just what I need for multiseason wear down here in Memphis. This pair replaces an Arroyo that I've been wearing quite a bit for over five years, and which has stood up well (everything from hiking to canoe trips). While I can't say the Glisan is quite as comfortable as the Arroyo, I really like it and am happy. Plus it looks very cool with jeans or shorts (I also have a pair of Boston II leather Keen's for winter that I would highly recommend). All Keens are quality made shoes and comfortable. Please be advised to order a half size up in the Glisan as they run small. BTW, I also ordered the Keen socks, which although a bit pricey, are well worth the money. Like my bike socks, they come marked for left and right feet wearing, and they are well made. I wear socks with the Glisan's when the weather is wet or cooler. Zappos is terrific with the their free shipping return if the shoes don't fit. You can't go wrong with Keen or Zappos! Happy travels.

I'm really happy with the way these look and feel. I wear size 10.5 and they feel true to size. I originally bought the Keen Newport but thought they looked a little unbalanced with a big rubber toe and a narrow heel. The Glisan looks much more proportional on me and look more dressy..

I have owned Keens before; this model is the best, very comfortable and lots of support. One word of caution & it's ok with me, but the chocolate brown color is almost black...if that matters. The fit is perfect, and Zappos service is the best!

This is a wonderful shoe as far as style and color is concerned. Comfort is only an issue as the shoe is much heavier in that as a woman, last year I wore the ladies Whisper Model which was much lighter in weight. Too much of a contrast weight wise. But otherwise typical Keen support and styling would normally recommend.

I have quite a number of Keen Shoes, as I find them to be perfect for my lifestyle, are a quality product and fit well. These leather sandals offer the same style as the popular H2Os but have a heavier sole feeling and looking a lot more like trail sandals. My size 12 fit exactly like the majority of my Keen styles. Given my particular shoe size, I find the tightening lace to be just the right length (unlike other poster's comments). I also find the toe room to be perfect and again similar or identical to Keen "Findley" or "Austin" shoes. I love the fact that these sandals although leather are as waterproof as my H2Os. While wearing socks, these will pass as normal everyday shoes and as such could be warn anywhere that sport shoes are appropriate. This is the first time I have seen this particular outer sole, so it will take a while before I Know about how durable they may be. Bottom-Line, I am very pleased with these Keen sandals.

Just returned from the UK and Europe and these were my go-to walking shoes. Put an average of 12-15 miles per day on these pups and they were excellent. Great arch support with all day comfort. This is my third pair of Keens and are by far my now most favorite. This sandal works on all terrain plus it is waterproof. Highly recommend for anyone who does a lot of walking.

This show is incredibly stylish. I wear it everywhere. I really like that it's made of leather, but it is much stiffer than the synthetic material sandals from Keen. This is obviously because of the material, but it's worth considering if you like to get your sandals on and off quickly - these take a bit more maneuvering to get on. You have to use the release cord and then snug it back up - something the synthetic versions did not require.

This is my current favorite fisherman's sandal. My older feet require extra cushioning so I added a Crocs silver insole under the Glisan's regular insole. This makes them as good as it gets. I first purchased a pair of Keen's Denver sandals, which didn't have the ability to add an insole underneath the standard insole, and they aren't nearly as comfortable. The Glisan's sole is also better on slippery floors.

I have several Keen shoes. The Glisan Sandal is the first Ive had that passes for more dressy but casual situations. There is one thing I am not cray about- removable foot liner that tends to come out with my foot especially if my foot is a little sweaty. Its annoying.

A bit of rubbing on the 5th toe with initial wear that resolved with socks for a few wearings. Now fits like a glove.

This is a very nice looking shoe that is shaped too tight to the foot and doesn't breathe enough so it causes heating, which can cause sweat, etc. The foot bed insert came out of the shoe when i took it off because it was stuck to my foot and that was only from wearing it around the house.
Keen's needs to work that out to have a five-star shoe of this design. On previous fisherman sandal styles, they had a much better foot bed that was also truly waterproof. Why change what was already good and working?
