This is one of my favorite dresses. The cut is flattering, and the styling of the straps in the back make a basic dress more interesting. I found that it runs true to size--I'm 5'1 and 105-110 lbs., and the XS was a great fit. It's pretty short on me--I can bend over at the waist modestly if I want to--but I'm not sure how this would be on someone several inches taller. This dress has a shelf bra that's no better or worse than any other, but I think that the unusual straps in the back could camouflage straps from an added cami or bra. If you're iffy about the dragonfruit color, it's a vaguely coral orange that turns into pink when viewed from a distance of more than a couple of inches. I've worn and washed this, then hung it dry, and there's no fading or pilling so far. I would recommend this dress with confidence. :)

I'm 5'7, about 185, this dress fit perfectly (sz L). Very comfortable, cute, and just tight enough around the top so I'm hoping I don't have to wear a bra with it. Great find, the detail on the back is beautiful. Makes this little black dress a little more interesting.

This dress is very cute, very comfortable. I ordered an XS. I am 5'7, 135 lbs, 27 inch waist, 34C/D. The top is a bit snug with the XS, but it works. I think the S would hide my waist, but I didn't try it. I don't mind shorter hems, so the XS worked for me, hitting mid thigh.

Love this dress I got the xs and am 5ft tall and 102 lbs. Fits perfect everywhere. Fabric is super comfortable, love the built in bra layer. Love the sexy straps across the back. Will more than likely buy another color soon.

Fantastic little dress! Soft and touchable, and the tiny pinstripes in the fabric give it a subtle depth. Patagonia dresses continue to be my favorite- thank you for another beautiful, comfortable creation!

The go to dress. I go the XS and it fits perfectly. It is body skimming but not tight fitting and the length is perfect. This will be my go to dress when it's 95 degrees outside in the summer.

I ordered the navy color in a small, and after trying it on I am promptly returning it. I'm 5'3, 32D and wear an 8 petite or 6 petite in most clothing. This dress was very snug in the torso and tight across the chest, and it was much more revealing than anticipated. It was also a thicker, heavier fabric than expected. I bought it for my honeymoon in Maui and I can't imagine this heavy fabric would feel very good on damp or sweaty skin. Too bad because it is super cute!

I have Patagonia summer dresses that I love but this one does not compare. I wear 2Ps and XS dresses all the time, but the bodice on this dress in a SM is much too small for me! I also purchased the Margot dress in a SM and that was too large, so I'm finding a lot of inconsistency in this year's lineup. Additionally, the pattern on the Spright (Josette Stamp/Classic Navy) was adorable and summer friendly, but upon washing it once in cold water, it faded dramatically. I wish Patagonia was carrying the Corrine again this year. Yes, they fade, but only a little, and the fit on them makes me feel young again.

I have a 34DD chest and a very small ribcage. It was a little to revealing for me so it will have to go back. But it was very comfortable and it didn't cling to the body, which is very nice with a jersey style dress.

I bought the Square Dance Pattern in size medium. It is super cute and very comfortable. It is way more flattering than I expected due to the great neckline and keyhole in the back. Unfortunately, I was way too hippy for it, so it will go back. I am 5'1" and 120 pounds with an old frumpy body. If you are even moderately fit, it will look great on you!

I love this dress. I purchased it in the turquoise stripe and the black stripe. Both are gorgeous. I am entirely intolerant of elastic bands (shelf bras) around my chest. So, I did have to cut out the elastic strip in this dress. I am an A cup, so I don't need much support. I do like a bit of enhancement, so I pulled some of those bikini inserts out of some old swimsuits and sewed them between the two layers of fabric in the bra area. It made the dress perfect for me to wear without anything else underneath. I've been wearing these two dresses almost nonstop on my Caribbean vacation. They are great for around town, dinner, on the boat over a swimsuit, etc. Best summer dress ever! Feminine, cute, sexy and comfy.

Love this dress! The line make is very sliming! The only thing is I will have o get some sort of cup put in. The top flattens me out and you cant wear a bra!

This dress is very comfortable and the fabric is a wonderful weight for summer. The style is flattering and forgiving in the mid section. Love it! Wish it came in different patterns as I would like another!

Love this dress! Comfortable, flattering, lines and nice soft fabric. Washes on gentle and then comes out of the dryer wrinkle free. Packs well for travel.

Okay, I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but I purchased two of the Patagonia Sprite dresses this summer and think I have worn them about 80% of the time this season! They are unbelievably comfortable, one does not need a bra with them (I am a solid B cup), and I have received about 20 compliments on them! I'm ordering the other colors as well--I sort of feel like I can toss about 3/4 of my summer wardrobe if I have these dresses! Absolutely awesome! The fabric feels more cottony than many of the other summer dresses this year and they breathe well.

I'm 5'1", 97 lbs and the XS was perfect. I love this dress! It's a very flattering cut, and the fabric is very soft and flow-y. Be warned: the shelf bra is quite snug, so if you're bigger than a 32 it might be tight. I bought several other patagonia dresses recently and they all fit beautifully. If you are a skinny petite person, I highly recommend Patagonia. Their XS is a true XS.

Love love love it! Comfortable and casual, yet add the right accessories and it can dress up. The shelf bra is great so you don't have to worry about straps showing.

I am 5'5", small frame with hips. 140 lbs. Bra size 36C and usually about a size 12 due to being rather hippy. I ordered this dress in a medium and large as I didn't know how it would fit. I kept the medium as it fit perfect in every way. This dress is amazing and very flattering. Very comfortable and the fabric is just the right heaviness. Nice length and appearance. I will be back for more Patagonia dresses for sure.

This is a fabulous summer dress with built in shelf-type bra. It's not too short or too long, hits me right about the knee and I'm 5'6" tall. It is a slimmer cut so I had to go one size up and order the large.

Such a great dress! I wore this all the time during a recent trip to Brazil. It is great for a casual outing but can also be paired with wedges or similar shoes for a night out. Very comfortable and the built-in bra is a plus! Washes and packs well for travel.

I'm 5'5" and 130lbs. I'm a 34DD on top and from the waist down I'm a small. This means that I'm a medium or large on top and a small further south. The small did not work for my top half so I will have to get a large and get it tailored. If you are a perfect hourglass, or pear shaped, this may work for you. For the top heavy ladies I recommend a large and a good tailor.

Totally cute. I'm a swimmer with a larger back and the built in bra does not pinch one bit. It's been my summer go to dress for everyday casual in the hot summer days of So Cal.
