I (and my back) prefer shoes that are as flat as possible, no raised heel and no arch support. This can be hard to find, but I did find some nice fancy-casual sneakers where all this was built into the removable insole. The salesman thought I was nuts but went a half size down to remove the insole. I knew I would want a very thin flat insole to bring back some minimal cushion, but without the raised heel/arch support. These are working perfectly so far! They fit in the shoe quite well, of course they aren't an exact fit but no problems. I was planning on trimming with scissors if they were too big in any area, but I did not have to do this so can't say if they would hold up well to that or not.

Some of the best foot beds/insoles I've purchased. They are supportive and durable.

This insole was not as thick as I had hoped, but fit well in my shoe and is very comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone not needing a lot of additional support.

Spent a lot of time searching for a flat sole to put in my running shoes after the original sole was work out! Great price and comfort, it fit right into my shoe and didn't have to go through the hassle of cutting them to fit my shoe.

I run in Vivobarefoot shoes. They started making their shoes without an insert, but I like to have a little 3 mm insert in there because I feel like it's more comfortable. These work great and feel almost identical to the Vivobarefoot inserts that used to come in the shoes. The only thing is I love to run without socks and these are a little rougher,but if I use some foot powder in there then they don't seem to blister.

Somehow my son wore through his New Balance insoles, but there was still plenty of life left on the rest of the shoe. I cut these insoles to size, and they've been great. We have extended the shoe life and he says they're very comfortable. I will definitely buy again.

These work great as a replacement for Nike Free 3.0 insoles. No gapping along the sides. Purchased the US Mens 11 for a Nike men's size 10.5 and trimmed a bit to fit.

Excellent product. I was always taking my inserts out of my shoes to make them more comfortable and roomy. Now that I have the 3mm thick insoles I am back at having an insert and being comfortable. I have them in both my Brooks Beast shoes and they fit perfect. True to size.

Super comfortable, I put them in my Sperrys. When I purchased, I was only expecting one pair of insoles, but instead I received 10 pairs! Great deal for the great quality.

A really great value for the money. I bought these to replace inserts in a pair of topsiders, and it was easy to trim the edges. They fit great, nice support and no sweaty smell.

Excellent insole for all types of shoes. These make loafers fit perfect when one wears no socks and they are very comfortable to boot.

If you're looking for a thin insole to add to a shoe with little room to spare, this works nicely. I had the inov8 3mm in my old Dr. Martens (which I got second hand and didn't have any insole whatsoever) and they worked well. But I decided recently to try the 6mm because it felt like I needed a thicker insole to raise my heel so the boots would fit better there. They fit better and still do not take up too much room in the toe box. However I now use the 3mm insoles for my PF Flyers under the foam insole that comes with them. It was getting a bit flat and I needed extra cushion. Stacking the two works awesomely. If you're someone who needs a really soft, cushiony insole then these are not for you. They do not have any arch support and are simply a thin, light, breathable insole. These could work well in women's flats and other dress shoes that need a little extra shock absorbtion, and could help keep feet from sliding in shoes. As far as size, I got the UK men's 9, which is the same size as the shoes I use them in. I had to trim them only slightly, and it's best if you get a size larger in case you need to trim. And lastly, it's always easy taking risks with products from Zappos because they're hassle free and have crazy fast shipping and an unheard of year long return policy.

I was looking for an in-sole replacement for my Reebok CrossFit Nano 4s. The reviews said these would replace an athletic shoe insole as mine are worn from heavy use. No way these would work for that, unless you don't actually do anything athletic in athletic shoes.
