Wearing these shoes is like wearing slippers everywhere...except for the the back heel that kept scratching the back of my heel. Still very comfy though. Despite the super comfy-ness, I sent them back. I have long, wide feet; looking down at my feet while wearing these shoes was not pleasant: clown shoes. Oh well, some day I'll find the perfect combo of cute and comfortable.

Really comfortable for a rain shoes. Unusually comfortable. Wide enough to fit my orthotics in to! Fit around the ankle was a little tight, but not bad. Not quite as cute as I was hoping. Need something a little more dressy.

I have owned and used the Bogs Rue brown boot for 14 months. I use them primarily for working in or visiting my vegetable garden, but I also use them as a rain boot. Excellent for both events! But, sad to say, after one year they have become dull with micro-cracks all over the boot. Silicone or other rubber treatments have no effect on it. This, of course, has no effect on the integrity of the boot, but if you want your boots to be shiney forever, this boot won't do it.

The foot opening on this shoe is very small. I've had several pairs of Bogs boots and wanted to try a shoe like this out for days when it's a little snowy or rainy but I don't want to wear a full boot all day. Unfortunately I couldn't even get my foot in them and even though I ordered up a size. I love the idea of them but the cut is not right. My search continues.

I have a love-hate relation with these boots. Love - they are very comfortable. Hate - they are NOT durable. After one year of wear the upper part of the boots have become cracked and dull. Two coats of Armor All could not bring the shine back. These boots are still good as work boots, but are no longer attractive as you see in the photos. No more Bogs for me because I suspect that all of their models are made from the same materials. By the way, I have a pair of Hunter boots way older than my Bogs, and they are still as good as new.
