I ended up with one-half size larger than normal. There is plenty of room in the toe box. They are comfortable. Mine squeak when I walk, which is bad for the price you pay.

I was excited for the Brooks shoe in great colors, however these are not very supportive running shoes. They are fine for walking around but not good for running. They do not give me nearly enough support. I am excited for the day when cool colors in a shoe will also be a great running shoe.

These were a little tighter than I expected, especially around the instep. Other than that, they are OK.

For me these are not great shoes for running, or at least they are not as good as the shoes that I had been running in. I had heard great things about Brooks shoes and was interested in trying this pair out as my next running shoes or my next work shoes. I decided to take them out for a 10 mile run. After the first mile I knew that they just did not have enough cushioning or stability that I would like. These shoes are in a lower price point than what I usually purchase. They are comfortable to walk in and I plan on using them at work instead.

I love Brooks and have worn Brooks Adrenaline for a few years now. I switched from New Balance to Brooks after losing a lot of weight. I walk and am active and end up wearing them out pretty fast so I am buying a new pair about every six months. The last pair arrived only two months after buying a pair I toasted in the rain. The pair two months ago was a size 9. That was half a size larger than my normal size. They fit great. Two months later, I bought the same shoes, same Adrenaline 12 and they were half a size too short. I wore them anyway but my toes hit the front to the point of pain on long walks. So, I ordered a 9½ and they fit but the arch is in the wrong place now. I wonder if their quality control is lacking. I plan to keep wearing them for a while longer and if, when I order my next pair, the sizing is off, I will have to move on to another brand.

Not as happy with these as my last pair. They are fine for walking but not running. The arch support is not as good.

The Brooks GTS 12 runs smaller than the GTS 11. If you are going from the GTS 11 to the GTS 12 I would suggest trying a half size bigger for the 12. The GTS 11 was my favorite marathon shoe but my feet hurt and I had blisters from the same size GTS 12 even at short distances. It seems to simply be a sizing issue - I'll be trying my 1st long run this weekend with a bigger size. Fingers crossed!

The GTS 12 runs a 1/2 size smaller than the GTS 11. I didn't realize the size difference until I ran in them and my toes hurt afterwards from hitting the front of the shoe. Will have to get the next 1/2-size up. Still a great shoe.

I ordered a 7 wide. The shoe fit perfect right out of the box. I wore them 8 hours the first day with no problems. They are an awesome fit. But, after only 6 months of wearing them, the shoes have two holes, one on each shoe, in the same spot. On the outside toe box near the pinkie toe. A hole in the mesh a out 1/2" wide I feel that with the price I paid for these shoes, I should have gotten more wear out of them than just 6 months.

I really like Brooks shoes in general, and had high hopes for these - but they haven't worked for me. I'm one who tends to overpronate, and I wear custom orthotics to control it. In only two months, the heel of these shoes has compressed unevenly to the point that my foot strike is out of balance and I'm rolling my ankle. Essentially, they are now unusable after just two months. If you have a perfect stride, maybe these are great - but if you tend to overpronate, be careful with these, and watch the heels carefully.

Liked the looks of shoe, I have always Ghost 4 before. Found the toe box too thin to be comfortable. Guess I will stick to Ghost 4s.

I needed shoes for the gym and figured these looked good. When they came it was a different story...despite my not being picky about gym clothing, I have to say these were some of the ugliest sneakers I've seen. They're going back.

Hated these sneakers so much! Was so disappointed because after reading all the great reviews I was sure these would be a good choice for me. The tongue on the left shoe is very irritating and chaffed against my foot while running. Also, for some reason, the height of the shoe kept rubbing up against my sock and pushing it down. My $30 pair of Outlet New Balance sneakers are much better than these.

The only running shoes I buy anymore is Brooks; because the support doesn't cave. They usually last me a year. HOWEVER... this particular pair has something amiss. The rubber has peeled on the bottom of one shoe, and the cloth began holes within 2 months at my littlest toes (I've never had either problem with Brooks shoes). Now I have substantial holes and wearing my old pair of Brooks Ghosts that I had already dedicated for mowing (but they still feel good!). I had a pair of the Adrenaline before and didn't have this problem, so maybe not the style but I would NOT buy this Adrenaline Gts 12 again. Probably just a bad batch.

Heavier than the GTS 11; stiffer than the GTS 11; very different fit than the GTS 11.

This is a very attractive looking shoes. But unfortunately they didn't do anything for me but cause MORE pain (more than what I had from plantar faciitis and heel bone spur) and fatigue too since I also have flat feet. I ended up returning this and getting the Trance 12- they are so much more comfortable than these to my surprise because they both are pretty similar in description! Oh well! Brooks still rock on my list though! :)

Let me first say I am a huge Brooks fan. I have many different pair. However, I am sending these shoes back! I got them because they indicate they are for pavement running. I have an average arch and rarely have any shin splint pain. These shoes were awful for me. I couldn't run 2 minutes before I had to stop! It was terrible! I tried again and gave up. I could only walk and they seemed to strain my arch which never happens. I was really surprised how bad these were for me and I guess there needs to be more information for the type of foot/running style this is really for so save someone pain in the future.

Just don't like these shoes. I've worn lots of Brooks before, but these just aren't comfortable after 6 miles. They gave me a blister.

Totally agree with Kristin. I have been wearing the Adrenaline for 12 years and never have had a problem with sizing. Always wearing an 8.5 m. My new Adrenaline 12's are sized odd, too small, but with too much room in the heel. I assumed they would fit like all my other Adrenalines so wore them out expecting to have the same wonderful fit. I can't return them and I know the next size up will not fit, based on how these fit in the heal. Now I have to find a new running shoe. Very disappointed in the Adrenaline 12.
