The shoe looked perfect in the picture -- just what I was looking for! However, the straps are actually lower across the instep than they appear in the photo, thus causing my heal to slip. Adjusting the straps does not help since they are too low.

Ive got to stop trying Clarks. They just dont know how to make a 6wide. Its like they leave the whole front of the foot too narrow, but they make the heel too wide. I just dont understand them. And this sugar dust shoe? The material seems decent, but thats the best I can say about it. It looks fine on the screen, but in real life it has a clumsy look.

Love Clarks and love these shoes. The only problem I have with Clarks is that the rubber pad on the bottom of the heal comes off. This has happened with almost every Clarks shoe I've purchased over the years. I end up having to super glue it back on. Clarks should really try and resolve this quality issue.

These shoes were really cute but they are quite narrow in the toe. I appreciated the fact that the straps were adjustable, too many shoes now have just velcro that wears out. Sadly, I had to return them. Length-size they were fine but the base of my big toe felt scrunched.

This is a very sturdy and comfortable shoe. I can wear it to work and look professional or wear it with jeans for a more casual look. The width andsize are perfect. The only problem is the leather might be cheap, as part of the toe area is already peeled off on both shoes after just 2 weeks of wear. I don't remember scraping my shoe but it must not be all that durable.

Unfortunately having a wide toe box doesn't necessarily mean having a wide heel. I hoped that having the strap on these Clarks Sugar Dust shoes would help with my heel slipping, but they slipped almost immediately upon test walking, and even though they're relatively cute (a little thicker than I might hope for for business attire), I know that the slippage will cause blisters.

These seem to run very large. I normally wear a size 8 1/2 but they were huge. Very long. I sent them back and ordered a size 8 and they were still way too long! There was a good inch between the end of my heel and the shoe. Couldn't keep them on. I don't think even a heel pad would help. Disappointed as they are very cute shoes but I give up going back and forth trying to figure out what size I need!

Sadly I have to say that this is my first pair of Clarks that I have been unhappy with. The leather on this pair seemed to wear away fast and I polish them every week. Also the heel leather has chipped off in places revealing the plastic heel. I need nice work shoes that are comfortable. But for the price I have to say I will not buy them again.

When will I ever learn? I love Clarks, but their narrows are regulars and their regulars are wides. I ordered this in narrow (as I wear narrows) thinking that the adjustable straps would keep my foot in. Even with an athletic insole, I was still walking out of this shoe. Oh Clarks! Please start making genuine narrows!

These shoes are unacceptably cramped in the toe box and you don't get the look of a pointy shoe. I have gotten blisters every time. They are frumpy, too. It seems might have a 30s style to them, but too many modern features negate any "style" they might have. Horrible purchase!

I bought this shoe to replace the same style I have been wearing for years. But these shoes are worn out in a month. Such poor quality.

These were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have blisters all over my feet. Also, they did not look good on my feet. I wish I could return them, but I wore them all day.

I bought this shoe in brown and black. Love the fit, the feel, the comfort and the look. They are perfect if you are on your feet a lot and I especially like the non-slip soles. However: I have worn the brown pair 6 times and already the paint is coming off the buckles. I also noticed when my shoe kept slipping that one of the buckles is installed backwards so it will not stay buckled. For the price, I am not happy with the quality!
